Whirlpool Cabrio 7.0 Cu. Ft. Super Capacity Plus Electric Dryer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
What does AF error mean on Cabrio electric dryer
AF on your Cabrio means the Air Flow is being obstructed. Make sure the vent is secure and free of debris at the back of the appliance. Also ensure there is no obstruction where it is vented outside of your home. Lastly, make sure the lint trap is clean. Your dryer will still run normally, but it's best to go through your checklist so no further issues arise.

Whirpool cabrio does not run or fill
check the power supply to the unit. if no voltage is found on the unit . check the wall outlet.no power at the wall socket ?? check the breaker box for tripped breakers if breaker to the wall outlet is off but good ,leave as is . check for grounds at the unit . if no grounds are present , turn on breaker . if it breaks with the dryer still not plugged in , search for any appliances connected on that line and unplug all. plug in the dryer then start it .if breaker opens , something is wrong with the dryer. call a qualified technician . thanks .
My dryer anit heating up but it runs?
Your thermal cut out relay may be bad, your heating coil may be bad, but be sure to check lint filter and the vent pipe before checking the thermal cut out and heating element
Thermal fuse part number
TURN OFF THE POWER NOW!!
Hello. The part numbers are as follows:
42 THERMISTOR 8577274
47 & 48 THERMAL CUT-OFF W/ THERMISTOR-HC STAT 280148(one part number for both thermals in a kit)
51 THERMAL FUSE 3390719
TIP--use a magnetic screwdriver that will take nut-driver bits
You will have to raise the top cover, then, on the right side corner, disconnect the door switch connector. Next, using a headlamp, look inside the unit, back towards the front near the upper left and right corners about 4 inches down on either side. Notice there is a screw on each side. Remove these 2 screws and that will release the front cover. Arc the top of it towards you and lift it off the metal positioning tabs at the bottom and set it aside. Remove the lint screen now. Remove the 3-4 screws that hold the lint duct assembly(metal blower cover) in place. CAREFULLY pull the cover away from the lint screen holder(be *darn* careful that you don't damage the wires connected to the moisture sensor bars on the upper right side of the lint screen holder). Now, carefully look for the thermal fuse attached to the blower housing. It will be the one towards the front, slightly to the left of the exhaust thermistor. It will have a pair of light blue wires attached to it. Note P9-1 BU(blue), thermal fuse, BU(blue). Replace the fuse and reassembly is the reverse--caution--don't forget to re-connect the door switch connector at the right corner--cause "It ain't gonna do a thing" (even if you pray for it to work! LOL)
I hope this helps you!
