Just wondering if you have tried to use one of the other handsets from the base. My friends phone has done this twice in the past couple months. For some reason it just stops working. What I did to solve the issue was to just unplug the base for a minute or two and then plug it back in. That seems to solve his particular issue for a little while at least, but whatever the issue is it seems very intermittent.

With the Camera and computer on, disconnect the camera and plug it in again. Hopefully the computer will show update Camera driver. If not go to the Control Panel and select Devices and Printers, right click on the Camera icon and select troubleshooter and follow the steps.
