I wish someone would bring a suit against any of these manufacturers using the term 'universal.'  At best, they are 'multibrand' and, with the proliferation of 'brands,' there never will be one that can rightfully claim to be 'universal.'
Durabrand is one of the several names that appear on Funai built consumer electronics so try those and also Emerson which now belongs to Funai. 
If that is also not help, you might want to try the RCA website to see if they have an updated code list.

Thia may not work for you, if you bought the remote at Wal-Mart take it back and get a replacement for it, you donot need a reciept to exchang it
