Maybe if you hook it up to a monitor and try changing the resolution then try connecting it back to the tv and see if it makes a difference

1st watch some Youtube Videos. I reccon the most dangerous is getting dust inside. It will work afterwards but be a real eyesore. Be shure it is the ccfl and not the inverters, changing some caps will be much nicer.

You need to use the monitor controls from the front panel, not the mouse.

It sounds like the you are not getting the back lights. It can be caused by power supply failure, inverter circuits failed. Look fo bad caps in the power supply first and post back

Check the firmware version. Version 001 does not seem to support 1920x1200.

I can't find an option to update the TV firmware on the Westinghouse site; check your manual if this is available.

Reconnect the old monitor.
Start Windows.
Right-mouse click anywhere on your "wallpaper".
Click Properties.
Click Settings.
Move the slider to 800-by-600 or 1024-by-768.
Click Apply
In 'Advanced', set the refresh-rate to 60 Hertz.
Click OK.
Shutdown.
Reconnect the new monitor.
Restart your computer.
Right-mouse click anywhere on your "wallpaper".
Click Properties.
Click Settings.
Now try moving the slider to higher values.
If the screen goes blank, wait 15 seconds, and Windows will cancel your change to a higher value.

turn off the computer restart it and press F8 immediatly before start and keep pressing untill menu appears then highlight on" enable vga mode" and press enter your problem will be solved

Have to set computer to 11440x900 resolution and make sure it stays there.

does your tv not have an audio out, if so, you could turn the tv's internal speakers off and just use the audio out jacks instead.

I think you should be claiming the insurance on the postage/freight company. In Australia every freight company including the post has an automatic insurance to a certain value. Because the scary thing is that newer items are hard to get parts for and when that happens people get them from the manufacturer unfortunatly they like to charge almost as mutch as a new unit.

You need to put it back in the box and return it. That is tearing.. The inner layer of your LCD screen is ripped. There is not fixing this.

This is not an error code you have accidently activated the delay timer. This timer delays the start of your wash programme & can be set between 1 & 24 hours so a wash can be done overnight or when at work for example. To deactivate the timer press the delay timer button until it shows '00' (sometimes +/- buttons)

I think that model uses 2 LR44 coin batteries. They fit behind a panel on the base of the timer.

It could be used as a monitor if you have on of thoose advanced Digital Tuners, They usually have a DVI or VGA port.Especially the HDTV ones. Connect thoose and you're off. If your monitor supports TV tuning, just connectt eh cable straight away and you should be able to watch TV. I would use digital tuners since they are becoming Widely avaible.

I can't remember if it is in the User's Manual or the Programming Manual but a sequence to reset the security code is detailed in one of them. Also, it sounds like the telephone line was wired through the system for full seizure. To defeat this, you will need to take it out of the phone lines at the outside telco box. How it is wired is that the alarm panel intercepts the telephone line first and then feeds the circuit back out to the main junction where the telco comes into the house
