hello,it is due to a jammed application on the blackberry,so all you need to do now is just to take the phone to an authorized software expert to help you flash the phone with the use of internet and after this is done your phone will work as normal as it was.

I tried everything and nothing worked. I ended up taking a small screw driver and punched out the light. Voila, it worked.

I couldn't afford to have my battery drained.

I own this same phone and usually while you have to wait for the red light to go off to commence to turning it on. I know on mines you kind of have to hold the power button down for longer than usual. One problem I've run into with this phone is charging it( i can't even charge it in the outlet anymore, i have to use a pc :-(), so make sure that the phone is charging properly for it to be able to turn on.
