Samsung UN40MU6300FXZC tv would not come on, No standby light.
Hi Walter, I can help you with your TV issues. On Samsung TV's it's normal for the backlights to come on if the connector going to the main is disconnected, on most other makes this isn't the case however. This tells two things, the backlights themselves are working and the hot side of the power board is working plus the inverter, it sounds like you have main board issues, and it will need replacing, it's been the EEPROM that fails on this model, and it has the exact symptom you're seeing. Both parts can be purchased at shopjimmy.com, naturally the IC will be cheaper but replacing it involves advanced soldering skills and the equipment to do it so replacing the board may be your best best

Ln52A550p3fxza samsung tv comes on with loud noise and scrambled screen, any help?
LN52A550P3FXZA TV. The T-con board is responsible for the image processing and video output, and a malfunctioning T-con board can cause a loud noise and a scrambled screen.
Other possible causes could be a faulty mainboard or power supply, damaged or loose cable connections, or a malfunctioning panel.
I recommend attempting the following steps before seeking professional help:
- Check all cable connections to make sure they are securely plugged in and not damaged.
- Unplug the TV for at least 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
- Try a different input source to see if the problem is with the source or the TV.
- Perform a factory reset on the TV by going to the menu and selecting Support > Self Diagnosis > Reset.
- If none of the above steps work, it may be necessary to contact a professional repair service or Samsung customer service for further assistance.

Vertical 5" wide dark band in middle of screen
A 5" wide dark band in the middle of a Samsung Smart Series 7 TV screen could be caused by several issues. Here are a few potential causes and solutions:
- Faulty LCD Panel: If the LCD panel is damaged, it may cause a dark band in the middle of the screen. Unfortunately, a damaged LCD panel usually requires a professional repair or replacement, which can be expensive.
- Loose or Damaged Connection: A loose or damaged connection between the TV's internal components could cause a dark band on the screen. Check all of the cables and connections between the TV and any external devices to ensure they are properly connected and undamaged.
- Picture Settings: The dark band could be caused by the TV's picture settings. Try adjusting the picture settings to see if it improves the image. For example, you could try adjusting the brightness, contrast, or sharpness.
- Software Update: A software issue could cause a dark band on the screen. Check if there is a software update available for your TV and install it if necessary.
- Magnetic Interference: If there is a strong magnetic field near the TV, it could cause a dark band on the screen. Try moving any magnets or magnetic devices away from the TV to see if it improves the image.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to contact a professional TV repair technician who can diagnose and fix the issue. They can ensure that the repair is done correctly and safely, and can help prevent further damage to the TV.

My picture is grainy after replacing ysus board and picture buffer
It is possible that the issue is due to the connection between the Y-SUS board and the picture buffer. I suggest double-checking all the connections to ensure they are secure and working properly. Additionally, it may be worth cleaning the connections with a cloth or electrical contact cleaner to make sure the connection is clear. If the issue persists, then you may need to replace the Y-SUS board or get professional assistance.

Samsung tv keeps turning on and off
The fact that the backlight stayed on when you unplugged the cable running from the power supply board to the main board does suggest that the issue is likely with the power supply board. However, it is still possible that the problem could be caused by a malfunctioning main board or another component of the television.
To confirm the cause of the issue, you may want to try swapping out the power supply board with a known good one to see if this resolves the problem. If the issue persists even with a new power supply board, it is possible that the main board or another component of the television is the cause of the problem.
If you are unable to troubleshoot the issue using the steps above, or if you are not comfortable working with electronic components, it is recommended to seek the assistance of a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the television.

Are LED strips BN96-21464A/BN96-21465A Compatible for both the 50 and 55 TV?
Hello, that set uses 2 LED strips that are no longer available and the 55" strips are physically too large to work, the panel from Samsung is no longer available, but some list it as "available -special order" but it's no longer available so how are they going to get it?. But to make sure they are bad, unplug the main board from the power supply and plug the tv back in, if they light, the main board is bad. If they don't make sure the voltage is there to operate them, if not the power supply is bad. Parts for a 10 year old tv are getting harder to find. panel part number is:
