Oven turning off
F3 - E4
Oven temperature sensor (RTD) opened (lower oven, if double oven). You will have to replace this failed sensor to restore normal operations. If your oven is a double version, it will be located in the lower part. If its a single range, it will be located in the oven compartment. The Oven Temperature Sensor has failed.
Please rate and god bless:)
Oven Caught Fire!!
Remove oven racks and look for two screws in the back on the bottom. Remove screws and lift out oven bottom. Do not use self clean.
Broiler works, as do burners.
jdelvecchio5Does the igniter (glow bar) come on whenever the bake function is selected.?
If the glow bar does not come on the safety valve will not open - no bake burner. check the electrical harness first then Try changing the igniter (glow bar first) before changing the safety valve/regulator.
Sf195lehz5 free standing gas oven,
Check both gas valve solonoids for 216 ohms [blue broiler wire to the orange common and red oven wire to orange common] both must be ok.
Check oven temp sensor for 1080 ohms.
If above are ok then the problem is either the spark module or the control board.
Since the gas valve was not opening and there was not ignitor sound I replaced the spark module for about $90. You have a 50-50 chance of being right.
My range is relitively new and I'm haveing an oven light problem which I traced to the control board so I may replaced this board to for about $200.

I have a gas oven whirlpool sf3020ekq2 buners work but oven won't
Sounding like your hot surface ignitor is getting bad. What I would like for you to do is open the oven and take the bottom panel off. This is so you can see the hot surface ignitor. Turn the oven on and look at the hot surface ignitor it is down on the bottom right next to the burner assembly. Does it start to glow and turn cherry red? This ignitor isn't too hard to replace couple of small screws and two wires. Will have to cut the wires so disconnect the unit from the 120 volt plug. Now if it starts to glow and get cherry red hot then the gas valve is sticking and it is the one going bad. That is a little tougher to replace. Turn the gas off at the source and get your wrenches unscrew the gas valve small space so if you want remove the door by just pulling it off the hinges.
If unit is old and you don't like it anyway maybe santa would be good
to you and replace the stove oven. The gas valve is about 60 bucks or
so and hot surface is about 20 bucks. let me know how it turns out.. ken
Oven works rarely
does it flip the breaker when it shuts off?if so sound like a short somewhere. i had kinda the same problem with a ge and it was the oven light was touching the panel and shorting out.
Whirlpool YWFE710H0BS0 oven no longer heats up.
Check the elements for continuity with a multimeter. Sometimes the connectors draw too much current and can burn out as well. Both are easy tests. A runaway temperature can make elements fail because there is no thermostatic control, they just glow bright yellow..
What does E1 F2 code means?
Greetings,
This might indicate a bad keypad or that the cable connecting the keypad to the chip board within your whirlpool has come loose. You might need to work with whirlpool to see if they keypad needs replacing or if the internal chip board itself is faulty.
Thank you.
