Unplug the oven. Take a potato and cut it in half. Jam it into the socket as far as you can. Now unscrew the broken socket by turning it counter-clockwise. The potato will form to the inside of the socket and twist it out.
Have a bulb broken off inside socket in gas oven..cannot remove..need help
power down at the breaker or unplug the oven, then if possible you can remove the lamp cover and shell from the rear oven wall, then most lamp bases have spade terminal connections unplug these remove the whole lamp base with the broken lamp, remove the broken bulb base, then check the center power tab inside the lamp base to make sure it isn't flattened out too much, otherwise carefully bend it upwards to make sure it makes contact with the bulbs base then re-insert the terminal connections and new bulb into the opening at the rear of oven, then replace the bulb, but,do not over tighten new bulb as this leads to non operation due to heating
No power on control panel
No reset for the control panel... you can try a hard reset ( remove power by triping the breaker for 1 min ) most like you have a safety thermo thats blown or a bad control... I can help you find them if you want to take it apart

You may have a pilotless ignition.Check around door frames for model #plate.
Also , open broiler door ,turn on oven and look inside . If you see an orange glow appear after awhile, that is the electronic igniter and you have an electronic ignition(no pilot). In this case the top burners use a spark ignition system. If you don,t hear clicking when you turn on a burner your ignition module might be bad.
Easily fixed though.

Hi
Error code F5-E0 indicates that there is an issue with the
door latch switch assembly; if the switch tests open then the door lock
assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further
assistance.

Can't get oven door open. it is locked.
Hello there and welcome to fixya
This is a fairly common problem
All of these ovens have a internal memory module built in that stores functions for the last several days so this needs to be cleared and it is done like this
unplug the oven from the wall and leave it sit for at least 1 hour and do not touch then after the 1 hour is over plug it back in and you may hear a beep or a click now wait 5 min then you can press the cancel button if yours has it on there or simply try to unlock it again
Now for the bad side of this
the cleaning cycle is the hardest thing on these ovens due to the extreme temperatures during cleaning this is very ******* the control board and the electronics these have been known to fail because of this so hopefully yours didnt ok?
Hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards Mike

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
This indicates an open/shorted oven temperature sensor and to solve this problem the temp.sensor needs replacement. If you want to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter for around 1100ohms....if it reads more then this then it needs replacement however, if the reading is around or less then 1100ohms then it is the control board that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

The broiler and the burners all light but the oven
your oven igniter is no good. remove racks from oven, unscrew the 2 screws in the back of he bottom panel. remove panel. there will be a metal plate on top of the flame spreader. remove the wing nut holding the plate and remove plate. you should now see the igniter. now try turning the oven on. after a few seconds you should see the igniter glowing. if it gets to a real bright then it is good. if it doesnt it is bad. unplug the stove.changing it is fairly simple. just remove the 2 screws holding it in place, gently pull on the wire to see if there is a connector, if not then you can always cut and join the wires to install the new igniter. igniter should run you less that $20 bucks. its pretty simple to change. after changing the igniter and before reassembling your oven, just plug it back in and turn the oven on. oven should lite. do not put hands or ace inside the oven while attemping to lite.
