What is the internal resistance of WB27x10194

follow this steps and fix it. God bless youLine FuseEvery microwave oven has a line fuse. This fuse is designed to blow if too much current is drawn through the microwave circuitry. The fuse can be replaced, but the underlying issue should still be investigated and resolved. Otherwise the new fuse will blow also.Main Control BoardIf the microwave is not working the main control board may be defective. This is not common. When a microwave stops working the problem is usually the line fuse or within the high voltage circuit; either the high voltage capacitor, diode, transformer or magnetron.Thermal FuseIf the microwave is not working the thermal fuse may have blown. It can be tested for continuity. Watch our fuse testing video for more information.ThermoprotectorIf the microwave is not working the thermoprotector may have tripped. This is a safety device to prevent the microwave from overheating. It can be tested for continuity to see if it's blown.2_7_2013_10_19_58_pm.gif

Over the Range Lights & Fan Failed. GE Microwave Oven JVM172G

It's not a fuse issue. This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller. The lights can can be inoperable or stuck on or stuck in "night light" mode. Sometimes this will similarly affect the fan operation or inside light, too.We see and repair this a lot. The problem is on the control circuit board. You can have it repaired or replace the smart board yourself. You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here. Here's a YouTube video showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes. Turntable not working

Possible failure of the drive belt or the turntable motor. Remove the bottom cover to confirm failure of the drive ,belt or if the motor has failed- check power to the motor when the microwave works if the motor tests OK.

GE Over The Counter JVM1850sm4ss microwave not heating. Change control board at suggestion of GE repairman. Microwave still not heatintg water.

Thank you for posting your complete model number and symptoms.Hmmm... I don't see an option for me to post a Clarification Request... What now, FixYa???When you hit "Start" to microwave, do the inside light, cooling fan, and turntable all come on? If so, the likeliest suspect is the magnetron. If not, I would suspect a door switch. Are the any unusual noises? Is it louder or quieter than usual? We have a sound clip of what a microwave should sound like when the cooling fan and high voltage section are operating here. These answers (if I could get them somehow) would help me judge whether it's in the high voltage section (magnetron, transformer, or diode) or the control section (door switch or control board relay or connection).

GE microwave oven not working

see this causes and fix it. God bless youNo Lights or Power, Unit seems Dead First check is the main fuse of the unit. On countertop units, you will need to take the shell off. The fuse will be close to where the cord comes through into the unit. OTR units, this main fuse is usually behind the control panel or possibly behind the vent. Usually the fuse is obvious if blown, otherwise test with an OHM meter, if open, replace fuse. Some brands will also have a thermal cut-off fuse in the incoming voltage line to the control board. Older Maytags and Samsungs have this fuse in it. This thermostat looking fuse is usually above the oven cavity somewhere under the outside shell. Sometimes you can get to it through the vent of OTR models. Test with an OHM meter, replace if open. Touchpad dead If you have a stuck key or non-responsive key, most of the time you will have to replace the keypad for this microwave oven repair. If your keypad is connected to your control board by a flat ribbon wire, try disconnecting it and clean the silver contacts with an ordinary pencil eraser. After cleaning, plug it back in and try it. If it doesn't fix it, replace the keypad unit. Some units actually have keypad tests to confirm your diagnosis of a bad key.If your keypad and control is the same unit, replace that unit. Another note, unlike stove/oven keypads and controls, most microwaves do not have error codes or tests to distinguish whether it is truely the keypad or control. Most of the time, it is the keypad that needs replacing, but a small percentage of the time it can be the control. Check the tech sheet if they can point you to the right part.10_11_2012_10_49_56_am.gif10_11_2012_10_50_31_am.jpg
