That happened to me yesterday. What I did was I went to the wacom site here: http://www.wacom.com/downloads/drivers.php, selected my tablet make and operating system, and downloaded the driver update. I installed it and as soon as it was done my pen started working again. Hopefully this works for you too!

try reinstalling the software. If that doesnt work try returning it getting another one.

I have seen these available on Ebay, if you cannot find them then try again in a week or also make sure you are checking international sellers, they're usually sold by chinese sellers (usually reputable, check their feedback and all usual checks etc)

I have the bamboo fun pen also. I am currently running Windows Vista 64bit home and have the same problem. I fixed mine by going into the control options > Tablet PC Settings > Other > Go to Pen and Input Devices > Settings (Under Pen Options) Then I clicked at the top Where it states "Enable press and hold for Right-clicking". I disabled that and my pen works with no holding for the right click. I can make scratch marks all day! Hope this helps you too.

Please follow those steps:

• Select "Preferences" under the "Options" menu .
• Under the Digitizer Input section select for input "Digitizer only" and click OK
• Now configure the menu and screen area and save configuration
• Select "Preferences" under the "Options" menu and set in the digitizer input section input back to "Digitizer/Mouse"

Have you replaced the batteries?
Otherwise, reduce the sensitivity of the mouse in the Control Panel.

reinstall drivers

Make sure the tablet is set to "Pen Mode". It seems to do this on "Mouse Mode"...
