Sin, cos,tan don't work. For example, I click 1, 2nd and cos and I'm getting 1 instead of 0.54. In all other buttons the 2nd function is working but not for sin, cos, tan. Thanks for any help!

I wonder if your calculator is set to the wrong units. Your calculator can be set to degrees, radians, or gradians. I assume that you want it set to degrees. When I click 1 2nd and cos, I will always get 0, because using the 2nd before the cos turns the function into cos^-1 (inverse cosine). The inverse cosine of 1 is 0 because the cosine of 0 is 1. Good luck. Let me know if you have any further questions. Paul https://education.ti.com/en/us/guidebook/details/en/ADF11FB65B284B6195B0A7E9502784BA/baiiplus

I need to use the EE button on my BA II plus professional finanacial caluclator. I need to calculate 2.06 * 10^23 divided by 3.78 * 10^28...Help?

If you do not have the Enter Exponent key (EE) you can use the general power key marked [Y^x], the one above the [9] key. Use parentheses to enclose the (10^23) and (10^28). Frankly, if you have to do many calculations of this kind, better buy yourself a scientific calculator. a1faec55-1937-49ae-8502-7646a426221d.png
