try booting with disk select option. hold down option key and power up. Try resetting pram. Look up key commands on apple support. Try safe boot with holding down s key etc....

cannot get full version via online downloads as far as I can see. You can only get the updates once you have installed the 10.5 from disc. I found them on ebay and amazon.

I have not been able to find any full retail versions from apple. I have found them on ebay and amazon. They are expensive and I do not have any more good disks with it. I found that the best os for g4 ppc macs is 10.4.11 but 10.5 will work on G4 867 and faster. I did not get much happiness from 10.5 on any G4. So the rule of thumb I use is, 10.4 on G4 and 10.5 on G5 and up

Hi, I think not a free any windows upgrade. But is you are Mac operating system used then may be low cost pay but pay, then your windows upgrade. I think you not upgrade old os, direct new windows installed or used it. Thanks, Mac Customer Service

This is not a free upgrade but a paid one, you will want to hop onto eBay and find a full retail version of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard (Black and purple box)
