Usually the spring inside the door has broken or come of the plastic tabs it is connected to. To fix requires you to take the door apart - not a job for amatures. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ronald_e6b9572cebe3ad27
This
is a problem in one of the damper-related components, either the switch
or motor or the damper door may be binding. The
damper is a door inside that opens or closes depending on cooking mode.
If the controller senses that the door is not in the right position, it
will shut down the cook cycle.Sharp (and Sharp-made Dacor / Wolf) models stop after
59 seconds.See the attached sample
drawing for a typical damper assembly. We have the applicable
service manual here and the parts list here.If a switch is all you
need, we offer a universal type for only $5 postpaid which you can
order here. We'rehappy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your
thoughtful rating of our answer.
We see (and repair) this
a lot. The problem is on the control panel, which
we regularly repair nationwide
by mail for $39.95 postpaid.At
our Web site, you can get details of our
service, plus we have a video
available showing how to remove a typical
over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
try removing the outer cover and discharge the high voltage capacitor, then you can remove the ribbon cables and check for any corrosion and try wiggling them to burnish the contacts as any corrosion can block these small signals to the unit from the board, also make sure all grounds are tight and clean and inspect the board for any burned spots or damage as in circuit board cracks
There is an excellent site www.applianceprosparts.com that has parts for your oven. Also Dacor has an official site that you can find on the internet that has that brands particular parts and accessories. There are pictures as well to be sure that you are getting the right part. Between the two you should find exactly what you need.
jamison665 was you using the microwave when this happened? Reason I ask is that all microwaves over the range have a temp sensor so if you are using the cooktop and don't have the vent fan on the OTR running, it will turn on the fan if it gets to hot. Once this cools off, the fan will quit running. When this happens, it is only the fan that is running. I think this may be it since the turntable will rotate when the mircowave cooking section is in use.
It could be an issue with the magnetron or high voltage diode, but I would need a bit more info to be sure.
Feel free to e-mail me from my site, and include your full model number (or even better, a picture of the model tag) and include your detailed symptoms to let me know what's happening or not happening, and when it happens.

I would suggest not using it and having a qualified repair technician look at it. The lights flashing would concern me that there may be an electrical sorry or another electrical issue going on.
