Usually that type of print defect is caused by a drum unit being worn out. Check your users manual for the part number. It may be available from Office Depot or the store you purchased the printer from, if not order online.

If you know how to remove your drum cartridge, take it out and check if you don't see your black spot on your drum....If so, replace your drum cartridge.

You may have a bad fuser to....
