You can purchase a service manual and the service program for your printer from.http://www.2manuals.com/index.php?cPath=56

the computer program is used to reset the waste ink counter, follow instructions in the service manual to first replace the ink pads, only then reset the waste ink counter with the service software for your model.

It would be recommended to take this to a epson service center, but you may do this at home if you wish.

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Umm yes you can use the scanner and printer in Ubuntu and have been able to since I got the printer in February.

The process generally involves disconnecting the network cable from your printer, and holding and pressing buttons in a certain combination, usually involving the power button and a cancel button, to reset the factory settings and return the printer to its default mode.

I think, The Printer is in Warranty. so u need to pack it again send to epson service center. no problem they will replace you. that's it so simplefrom liyakath khan, Hassan-573201

The E-02 error indicates that a cartridge is expended or not installed properly. The printer should have an arrow pointing to which cartridge is giving you the error. Try cleaning the contacts on the cartridge and printer and reseat the cartridge if you still have a problem with the printer contact Epson this seems to be a common problem with that model.

hey you need to move the grey plastic to the left side by gently slide it over to the left side that is the one what is drives the paper ... i just found out when my buddy came over that this thing eats hes paper and since i was the one who had recommended to him i felt like to do something that is how much as far i went in the discovery :D cheers

We've just had the same problem, it seemed to have something to do with a kind of Epson drive, within 'my computer' folder, if you can see said 'Epson drive' within my computer, delete/remove it.
We then had to uninstall every Epson orientated software file within uninstall programs in the control panel, and then re-install the software for the printer.
It did take us quite a while to figure it out, but our printer/laptop/internet wifi network now seems to work, bug free!!

its because the ink housing will only aline when the ink is empty its not like any other printer that you can line the housing up. Wait until you run out of ink then lift up the lid and the housing will be alined - its stupid system and epson dont tell you this when you buy the produc

This error means that some mechanical parts of your printer is in trouble. This could be some of the causes:

1. The print head is stuck somewhere or is unable to move because of some blockage in the printer's bay.
2. If you are using a Continuous Ink System, then the tubes might have blocked the print heads from moving.

To resolve, turn OFF your printer. Remove such blockage then turn the printer back ON.

Power off the printer, unplug the power cable.
Lift the scanner lid, check for obstructions that might be blocking the print head.
Close the lid, reconnect the power cable and power on the printer.
If it still says E-01, please contact your local service center or the store where you purchased the printer for your warranty options.

Please try to remove the ink cartridge and put it back in and apply a little pressure to it. It might be a defective ink cartridge.
