To make a phone call follow these instructions:

Making calls with the Handset
1. Pick up the handset and the phone automatically selects the priority line. If the priority line is occupied, it selects an open line.
OR
Pick up the handset and press a LINE button to select a line.
2. Wait for a dial tone, then dial a phone number.
3. Hang up the handset when finished.

Making Calls with the Speakerphone
1. Press the SPEAKER button and the phone automatically selects the priority line. If the priority line is occupied, it selects an open line.
OR
Press a LINE button to select a line.
2. Wait for a dial tone then dial a phone number.
3. Press SPEAKER button when finished.

This phone has a data port jack to connect an auxiliary phone device, such as a fax machine, computer modem, answering machine, or even a cordless phone.

The data port switch on the back of the phone controls the data port jack so you can choose line 1, line 2, line 3, or line 4. Use the data port to hook up your fax machine, for example, and then set the data port switch to line 4 in order to receive faxes on the phone number for line 4.

If you are talking to someone on line 4 and want that person to fax something to you, change the data port switch to line 2 or line 3, and give the person on-line the phone number for line 2 or line 3. Your fax machine now can receive calls on line 2, line 3, or line 4.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to switch the fax machine back to the normal line when you are done because outside callers who do not know that you have switched lines will not be able to reach your fax machine if they dial the line 4 number. Press the ANSWERER button (see attached image) to switch the answering machine on or off. The ANSWERER light is lit when the function is activated.

All of the "features" you are having problems with require AC power, I think you have a bad power supply, the plug on the phone is bad or something inside has fried. If you have tried switching the power adaptor with one that you know works then look at the plug in the phone. Make sure the contact is clean and not damaged. If this does not work you may have to replace the phone.

Call forwarding is a function of your service provider. CALL FORWARD VARIABLE you control by dialing a code then then number you wont to forward your calls to, *72-685-2900. To disable the forward dial *73. There are different codes for each phone company, you may have to contact them for the code they use.

Another type of forwarding is setup by the phone company, CALL FORWARD BUSY/NO ANSWER. This type of forwarding you have to call the customer service line at your phone company to have them remove it. I use this type for my voice mail and call routing service, All Call Technologies.

Try a Double BT Jack, available from most Phone Shops.

Ensure that the speakerphone feature is not disabled. Some phones have a dedicated button or an option in the phone menu to enable or disable the speakerphone. Look for this option and make sure it is turned on.
Or Reset the phone to factory settings. Refer to the user manual of your 25423RE1-A phone for instructions on how to perform a factory reset. Keep in mind that this will reset all settings and may delete any personalized configurations.

To turn off the second alarm on the RCA Digital PLL radio model RP3711A, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the "Alarm 2" button on the top of the radio until the display shows "OFF."
