I have sony VPLAW15 projector. The lamp cover light is flashing twice repeatedly. I replaced the bulb with an OEM bulb and the problem still persists. The projector is not starting.

check the fans , check the cover of the lamp, there is a siwtch under the cover of the lamp make sure the switch is on the right place

Lamp cover light is blinking 2 times indicating that the cover is loose. the cover is properly secured.

After replacing the lamp and reseting the lamp settings, the projector automatically turns off after approximately 5 minutes.

has the projector been cleaned? You can blow it out with air but don't spin the fans too fast or they will break. If it has a filter has it been cleaned? Don't use canned air on it when it is on though.

I need to replace the filter for my sony bravia vpl-aw15 HD Projector

Hi, Here i have added the link to the manual of Your projector. Downlaod the manual and reffer page no 55 to 58 Which discribe how to repalace the air filter. You can clean the air filter and refix the same. If you need to replace the air filter with a new one the you have to contact sony authorised servicing centre for new one. 6 red lights flash when u start it. up wont turn

Disconnect AC power cord, then confirm the I/O (on/standby) lamp is turned off. Turn the power on again after re-connecting it. If the indicators still light up, the electrical system has a problem.
