How do you get music from cds on the mp3 player?
You will need a CD ripper.
(Do not worry it does not damage your CD's!)
This is only the application function of converting the wav files on your CD into MP3 files for your MP3 Player.

DRM protected CD's usually hit or miss. Some will convert some won't. Opt for NON-DRM if you can. Send a clear message YOU bought it, YOU have the right to listen to it when/where and how you choose.

first off get the arcsoft media converter 3, then drag and drop the videos you want to get on your mp3 player into the program, after it converts it it loads them onto your mp3 player as long as its connected, this program will also allow you to download youtube videos and put them on your mp3 player too

You have to convert the video files on your computer first in form of 3GP, then copy those files in your device(mp4 player).

If it shows up when plugged into your computer, it might be fixable. Use the CD that came with it to update the firmware, and try the troubleshooting options.
If that doesn't work, and you have already reset the system, you should send it to Phillips, as it should still be under warranty.
I cant downlaod itunes to my mp3
for phillips mp3 players, you need to use the software that came with them to upload music to your mp3 player. You can find the sofware to download at phillips website...

find your model in that list, and download the software, and you're good to go.
I cant put songs in the gogear from itunes?
Sorry iTunes does not allow non-iPod devices to sync with iTunes. However, if you download something called
Double Twist, you can put the songs that you have in iTunes onto your Gogear. Double Twist pulls your music from iTunes and does all the necessary file conversion and it's really easy to use, you should give it a try.

Have you tried another cable?
If it is a USB cable, be advised that there are 3 pin and 4 pin cables, and only the 4 pin charge. The 3 pin is for data only.
I can't get my music from my computer to my player.
I kept trying to get my music on to my player. I messed around and found a website that told me I needed to update my windows media player. So I downloaded the new version of windows media player. I went from media player 10 to the new 11. Now low and behold the new media player organized my music and told me what to do when I plugged in my player. Thank you, but I don't need any more help at this time.
