My X241w until recently required about 10 or more

It may have a lot of dying caps as shown in my pictures here: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/ACER%20X241W/

More damage will be done if the caps get real bad.
The size of this monitor is big but I find the picture quality is not too good.

X241W Acer monitor: getting blank screen. When

If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on: Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed ACER monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

My monitor X241W flashes the ON/OFF LED, and

It may be in the safety shutdown mode if it sensing too much current draw. No short circuits in the inverter board. Plug it ino the wall out let and do not activate the power switch so the power supply will be running without having to power up the inverter board, if the 24vd is OK in the power supply then you may jave problem in the inverter board. How does the DC voltage on the secondary power supply side? Bad caps can look normal but it can have high ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) which is a no no for switching power supply. Post back with more info. So far I cannot locate free service manual download for this model.

My acer monitor

I have answered this in other threads but to reiterate....
The Gray rectangle "No Signal" I use a Power Strip and Turn off as soon as it cycles back to Normal screen. It is so much easier then to unplug and Plug back in when it does happen.
As for the Newer Problem(s) and I too have had mine for only couple of years... Copied from Previous post
This is not a Fix to the Problem, If you read some of the other "fixes" that relate to this you will see that it is a more serious problem and one that Acer should Do the Honorable Thing and have a Recall.
I actually went in side on three of the Same Monitors and one that was a 21 inch and found the problem is "HEAT"
You can see where a Board actually shows Browning on the Circuitry I am Going to try to order a new board P/N:AS08B360411.
I will update as soon as work is completed.

Monitor comes up shows "acer" then says no signal and goes black

This Problem is Acer(s) Monitors. Though it is a nuisance one fix That has work for many is the Unplugging after it goes back to Good (viewable) screen.
I have hooked mine up to an inexpensive Power strip to make it easier for me and just turn off at time indicated above and Viola Simple is as Simple does :)

My monitor went dim and goes black after a few

I don't know what OS you have but there is a power management setting you might want to check. Most likely the monitor is set to go quickly into sleep mode at inactivity. Alternately I don't know what monitor you have but it might be a backlight Issue as well

My new-bought Acer Aspire 3 has yellow acer logo when starting up, is it normal? Because in some yt videos, the acer logo is green

Perfectly normal. It depends on the internal timing of the GPU and the OS version.

My Acer X1110 switches off as soon as blue light comes on?

it needs service, and service manuals are hard to find on anything by the likes of ACER. this projector worked for 12 long years, did you own it 12 or bought a bad projector, no history told as I can buy dead projectors all day long. and hard nut problems even hacking done. Acer X1110 data projector Standard throw projector.. did you know most projectors have serious grade protective devices inside??? (tamper and overheating are 2) did you read owners manual page 32 yet, errors. LED codes.? there are 4 LED, and all 4 matter, projector turned (ON) (not one =1) also in pairs glowing and also if blinking or not, so read page 32 it tells all that. my guess is overheat failures, even cold, due fan slow or packed in lint after 12 years of use and no service done,. color-undefined-undefined-0.jpg https://manualzz.com/doc/49497108/acer-x1110-user-manual some have dust filtler a shop first cleans is out first, and check fan RPM with and LED tachometer. this is all SOP.

''e'' button :acer empowering technology

That button can be set using the utility on your programs list

It maybe that you accidentally turned it off or set it to do some other task.

Start there first before re-installing the program that sets it.
That is on one of the cds that should have come with it and can be installed by itself.
