I would like to disable

The first and most effective way is by following the instructions below;
1. Unplug the oven
2. Open the door of the oven
3. Press the 0(zero) and reset buttons together while plugging the oven back in.
This should solve the problem, if this does not solve the problem, then the next thing to do is to contact danby technical service.
Hope this was helpful?

Chefmate microwave P70D20AL-D4 beeping

After calling many numbers, I was put in contact with the manufacturer, Galanz Microwave, and was told that that beeping is due to a burned out part in the keypad that is not servicable. I, too, have this annoying model!

None of the Microwave buttons

Could the Child Lock feature be active on the microwave? If it is active, there may be a "box" symbol formed by the LCDs in the display. Try pressing and holding the Stop/Clear button for 3 seconds (or a little more). You should hear a long beep and the clock should return to the display (if it was set).

I do not have the DMW1153. However, I assume the DMW1158 is similar. The manual for the DMW1158 is here: http://www.danby.ca/cms/uploads/products/en_manual/DMW1158BL_EFOM2_%28web%29.pdf . Additional Danby microwaves are listed here http://www.danby.com/products/cooking . If you go to any of the links, the manual will be available from the Literature tab.

I hope this helps.

I have a Danby Designer

Rust can form from the steam and condensation as you say, and it's a good idea to always cover food and wipe the oven out after using it. You can sand off the bad paint and rust the same way you can on a car, and then touch up the paint if it's a minor amount. Spray paint specifically made for microwave cooking cavities is available. (You don't want to use paint that may have metallic components.) It may be available locally if you have appliance parts stores in your area, and you can find the paint online as well. There's no need to replace the oven just yet, unless you find a good deal on a new one and you're looking for an excuse.

How do you change the internal light bulb?

Replacement of the lamp should be carried out by a qualified appliance repair service.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!

Attempt this only if you are competent.

But here is a basic method if you are mechanically minded and have electrical safety knowledge.

The lamp is sat in a housing and its position is adjacent to the vent holes that it shines through.
If you feel confident, disconnect it from the mains power, remove anything in the cavity.
Remove the microwave cover. Purchasing a new replacement lamp will be useful as it will give you an idea of what it looks like. Locate the dead lamp remove the lamp and fit the new one. Replace the covers. Plug it back in and try the lamp by opening the door.
Hope this helps.

No heat

It sounds like the magnetron may have either failed or is not being supplied with the extremely high voltage required to run it.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT

This is a job for a professional but if you are safety clued up, here's instruction.
Make sure the !!!!any capacitors are discharged!!!!! before attempting any sort of repair.
Check the door interlock switches first then the high voltage diode with either an AVO model 8 or moving coil meter on high resistance range for short circuit, (DVM's won't show the fault!), the capacitor can fail and go short circuit, the feed fuse on the primary of the high voltage transformer and then finally, the magnetron is best checked by substitution.
Hope that helps.

Gives beeping noise at regular

On my Danby this was a reminder that you had nuked something and had left it in there. If it stops when you open the door then this is all it is. It should beep about once every 15 or 30 seconds.

Other than that I don't know of any other regular timed beep that my Danby made.

The cardboard foil piece is

That is a piece of Mica that is called the Wave Guide Cover.
It is very important as it stops food particles from entering the magnetron output aerial.
You must replace it. Contact an appliance repair centre for replacement.
