Hi,
This is a motherboard or BIOS issue.
Remove the adapter and the battery, turn the laptop over and locate the RAM (memory) cover and unscrew it, it will look similar to this >>>
take out the RAM and clean the contacts and the slots, then reseat the RAM making sure they/it clips into place properly and replace the cover.
You can now try booting the laptop to see if it gets further than the splash screen.
If there's still no joy you may have to remove the CMOS battery (small battery inside the computer), keep it out
for 10 minutes, then put it back. (this battery might need replacing)
