First of all try to clean your touch pad with a SOFT CLOTH gently soaked in a GLASS CLEANER fluid. Make that as good as you can and you will remove all the dirst that may occur during the function of your computer, generating "fake movements" of the cursor.
Second: go to
START > CONTROL PANEL > MOUSE icon > DEVICE SETTINGS
and disable touch pad or check box to hide cursor while you are typing.

It's actually a manufacturing problem. The dvd metal case atually touches the the interior metal case of the laptop causing a shortcircuit. Solution: Remove The DVD drive from its place by removing the screw of the drive from the back of laptop and then pull the drive gently out from the laptop case. At the end of DVD case you can see the metalic extension, with a little hole. Cover that entire area with something, i used a sticker, but let that hole free, so you can put the screw back in once you put the DVD drive back in to the laptop case. That's it. If your DVD drive has no other defects, it should work

This is a common problem which is experienced by a lot of ACER computer users. My friend experienced the same too but I have fixed her computer. I made a guide for this kind of problem with a download link for the driver that you need to install enable for the camera to communicate with the computer.

Hi,
Try removing the power supply (from the wall) and the battery pack. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Plug the mains power (from the wall) back in and then press the power button. It should work. Then you can replace your battery pack. Don't know why it works but it has worked for me in the past. Good luck!

First how old is your LP? and 2nd try replacing the BIOS battery inside the PC wait 24 hrs then install the new battery, this might help?

There is an update that cause the sounds to stop. Go to the Device Manager, go to the sounds, video and game controllers and click the sound device. Right click and see properties. Go to the driver tab and click roll back driver

generally all Disk Drives will have a small hole beside the eject button take a long pin and try to push it in horizontally slowly first till it touches the liver and then with some minimal force till the drive ejects and the latch gives off on pressure then manually pull the drive out (with minimal force again)

then try seeing on the lower side if there is any obstructions

this is what you are looking for you can connect and disconnect from this icon near the time and date at bottom of the screen.


if you dont have this icon then you have to go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > and look for connection that mention wireless or something like that. If the connection in semitransparent it means it is disabled. double click it and it will be enabled.
otherwise you have to install the drivers of the wireless adapter.

can you explain, the proccess 13 of 14 from stuck recovery system.

If something different than what you typed comes up, then it is probably the keyboard settings that are to blame, if nothing at all comes up then it could be a loose connection between the keyboard connection to the motherboard.

Sounds like you may have switched the keyboard to the "French" language keyboard. Do you know how to switch it back? Let me know and I can help.

Download the drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure youselect the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers youthat require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on yourlaptop. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -

Make sure the ram is properly seated. If this does not work you might have a bad motherboard.
