you lost bet ...when it has a bluetooth switch it will have a hardware installed.
Best solution is got is a simple call to acer service support,the problem very very simple in 5738 machines they installed foxcom bluetooth device a very much updated version.But the drives in your cd will be broadcom drivers install aspire 3810T model bluetooth drivers.

enter bios ,,on the first screen you should see you comps model and serial

2 possible reasons: a program in the background is running constantly at full power (open Task Manager, find it and uninstall it) or the cooler is clogged with dirt (use a can of compressed air and a q-tip to clean it). To remove some of that heat use a cooling pad.

laptops have power supplys that can lock up
the power adapters conectors break all the time 
and the batterys are designed to be "con$umable$" 
so

remove the power adapter's wall plug & 
leave the power adapter plugged into the computer 
but pull the laptop battery out of the laptop.
press the power button just like you are trying to start it 
but press it longer, this will drain & reset 
the internal supply, now relese the button.

reconnect the power adapter's wall plug 
press the power button to start it with just the power adapter , 
If the power adapter starts the laptop on its own go down to  
"If the computer can be started"

If the power adapter does not start the laptop on its own 
leave the power adapter plugged into the computer but 
remove the power adapter's wall plug & press the power button 
just like you are trying to start it again, 
then relese the button

unplug the power adapter & put the battery back in  
press the power button to start it with just the battery

if the battery starts it on its own go down to

Move the content of that disk to a different location, say external drive etc. and reformat the drive. Move back the content of the drive. You should okay.

Sometimes it differs but you can try pressing FN and F7 together on your keyboard to see if that will enable the touchpad again.FN should be next to your left-ctrl on your laptop keyboard.

On other Acers, there's either a seperate button to enable the touchpad or a different Function key. See on your keyboard the function keys and choose the one that looks like a tochpad, with a pointing hand. Sometimes the icon on the key just looks like a mini-touch-pad.

Visit the support section of Acer's website. There you will find if they have Windows 7 drivers for this unit.

If they do not have Windows 7 drivers there may not be any for that unit.

First check to see if it is activated...(enabled) for this ...go to bios ..settings by pressing F2 on start right after the first written lines appears...There select with the errows for up and down the feature called optimal factory defaults...and press enter to confirm ...Thi sdefault the settings and if the device was disabled this will put it back on ...
Save all changes by pressing F10 and enter to restart ...In this moment the blue tooth will be found ..and will search for a driver ..If the driver is already loaded in the system it will install itself automatically , if not ...will ask to install it from the disk that came with the laptop..or ..search it on the manufacturer site..according to your operation system in use...

i have encounted this problem myself, this is a rather odd error as after a long period of time the package downloads successfully, if i am right you are also unable to manually download and install this package, i looked all over the internet and found nothing to do other than wait

Usually this computer has this kind of problem specially if you had updated driver through Vista Windows update. Try to uninstall driver from System Manager, and download the proper driver from http://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/download.htm then install it. It is sure that you can fix this problem. I have already done it.

The hardware is ok then. The operating system is unhappy though. If you have the bios (boot up) screen you can reinstall an operating system. Without prof help you can get your data off the hard drive before reinstalling the operating system.

Click the '+' to the left of 'DVD/CD' branch of the hardware tree.
Double-click your DVD device.
Change the region.

Note that you can "change region" only about 5 times, before the DVD will "lock" into a specific region.

You need a new laptop charger with suitable voltage for your Acer Notebook.

Function keys? Try holding down the Fn key and the shortcut key.

look on your keys till you see a little wiress atenna icon and press FN and it together or look on front or side of laptop and see if there it a switch to slide or push

Sometimes windows Vista is the problem. I found that I had to go in and change the resolution in my tv and label the function of the input. If the resolution of your tv is too high, it won't be compatible with your laptop.

The problem is with the corrupted boot files .In my opinion you have one solution
Steps for solution

1. Download an operating system called ' Linux mint ' which can be installed in the pen drive having minimum 4 gb capacity . Using this operating system you can access the computer .

2. Copy the file and folders to an external storage device (external hard disk, pen drive etc..)

3. Reinstall the operating system ( XP,Vista ,Window 7,Ubuntu etc )
