Wi-fi connection

Looked at the specs on your laptop and you have the wireless card included. I assume you have a router set up already or you have access to another wireless network. Follow these steps to access it from your laptop:

1. Go to START
2. select MY COMPUTER
3. Once in the new window, click MY NETWORK PLACES under the "OTHER PLACES" section
4. select the VIEW NETWORK CONNECTIONS link under the NETWORK TASKS section
5. RIGHT CLICK on your wireless network connection and choose PROPERTIES
6. click the WIRELESS NETWORKS tab.
7. make sure the "USER WINDOWS TO CONFIGURE MY WIRELESS NETWORK SETTINGS" box is checked
8. Click OK and close the window
9. RIGHT CLICK on your wireless network connection (the name of it) and choose REPAIR
10. if windows detects the wireless connection, you should see a bubble near the task bar
11. in order to begin using the wireless connection, open your web browser then enter your username and password (if required)

Lenovo N100 does not switch to battery power

Batteries have a memory,

When the battery was new it most likely would run for 1.5 hours, but, since you didn't want the computer to go off, and you were by a plug-in, you plugged it in before it was completely or maybe sometimes not even halfway discharged. That is where it stated its "memory" - this got shorter and shorter = your battery "THINKS" it is totally discharged and reads as so.

There are programs on the web (can't advertize for pay programs or give you links to them - against the rules) - that will re-vitalize your battery to almost new condition by discharging it more and more till it is truly fully discharged, then will fill it back to like new charge time.

Or you can buy a new battery.

My internet speed is slow.I connect it via bluetooth.

by any means even if the configuration of the system is also very good but still with the bluetooth you will not get the connectctivity speed like the broadband and that is same as with the wireless also you will not get the speed like you get from the broadband connection . as this is just the virtual connection with just give you the emergency support not like as usual cbroadband connectivity.

so that cannot be increased .

Usually a wifi enabled phone, computer, or whatever device, will recognize if there is wifi access near you. If not you may need to turn on the wifi on those devices. Usually those setting can be found in menus like Network Settings. Once it recognizes the network you will need the password if it is required. Just enter that in and you are set. Where you enter the password is usually in the same menu in which you turned on your wifi enabled device. if still no connection Power on the laptop computer and wait for the operating system to boot. If a password is required, you need to type it in now. Wait for the laptop to connect to the Internet. In a moment the computer is going to state it has successfully connected to the Internet. Click Start, Run type in cmd and click Ok to bring up a command prompt. Type ipconfig /all and press enter and see if it gives you an IP address similar to 192.168.1.100.
