I have the same machine. I am currently experiencing a similar problem. The machine reads cd's, vcd's, but it will not read dvd's. Commercially purchased dvd's. The problem is not a format problem, not a zone problem. The dvd's work in other machines, so it is not a dvd problem. If anyone has any ideas, please respond. Thank you.
