Frigidaire GLTF2940ES Front Load Washer - Page 7 Questions & Answers
Have a frigidaire GLTF2940EEO will not spin. it washes..just no spin any ideas?
Take the power plug off the wall. Be prepared for a lot of water before attempting the following: It doesn't spin because the unit is not draining water. It will not spin with water in it - must drain first. Check drain hose for kink, check exit pipe for blockage. Remove the front access panel, bottom front; if you find a pipe there with a cap -this is for draining water.Could be your "coin trap assembly" is blocked, therefore not allowing all the water to pump out. Remove the clamp that connects the trap assembly to the pump and clean it out. If helped, pl say so.

Washer has error code E47
Hi,
I have the same problem with the E47 code. I had the service guy over and he brought a troubleshooting sheet. Basically, you must remove the door switch assembly and check the PTC (the white plug on the door switch assembly). According to the diagnostics sheet, if the switch is open or locked, then it is a doorswitch problem, but if the reading on the switch is ~ 1500 ohms, then its the control panel.
The reading on my PTC was ~ 1400 Ohms (which is close to 1500) so I ordered a new control board. I'll post again when it's re-installed.
Ugine washing machine E11 errer
Hi Rana, I am happy to assist you!
Generally, error code E11 means that your washing machine is taking a long time to fill (or is continuing to fill).
Is the incoming water flow normal? If it is, does the fill water continue to enter your washer? If yes, disconnect power from your appliance. Did the water fill stop? If so, a service technician may need to check the pressure sensor or switch to determine if it needs replacement.
If your water flow is abnormal, double-check water faucets to ensure they are in the "on" position. If on, your incoming water pressure may be above 30 PSI and could need adjusting. Check for any kinked or blocked water hoses or clogged water screens. If you've cleared the water screen and/or unblocked any kinked water hoses, and the problem still persists, it could possibly be a water inlet valve assembly.
If you have checked all of the above, the unit may need a main control board replacement. I would recommend contacting a qualified service technician to further assist you in diagnosing this issue.
Frigidaire GLFT2940ES3 Display Flickering
Have you got another washer? Because it might have been too old, or it has a bad quality when you have used it for ages. But if it's new, you could ask the people from the store you bought it from, and ask them about it as well.
Clothes wet after spin
Hello pkoehler, thank you for your inquiry!
Often when the
clothing continues to be wet in a washer, it is because the unit cannot
properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does the unit make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be
clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the washer may possibly be
experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or
control board not communicating correctly. Because it could be a number of any
one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional
to properly diagnose and repair the unit.
Keeps displaying PAUS
Good Afternoon Rhonda, thank you
for your post!
"PAU" is in regards to the door does not securely latched or the cycle has been
interrupted. Try pressing "PAUSE/CANCEL" or "START/PAUSE" once to resume
washer. If proves to be ineffective, try reprogramming the appliance by
unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately
ten minutes and turn the unit on. If the issue persists, then the washer could
possibly have a faulty door latch or experiencing a communication error with
the control board. I would personally contact a professional to accurately
diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of
unnecessary parts.
