First turn off the radio feature of the clock by pressing and holding the Mode/Alarm Reset button. That is the right-most button on the top of the clock as you look down on it from the front. You may need to do this step twice to see Off in the display. Next press and hold the Preset/Clock button on the far left. Now use the Hour and Min buttons (the two buttons to the right of the Preset button) to set the current time. When the correct time is flashing, press the Preset/Clock button. The display should stop flashing and the clock will run. I hope this helps. If it has a backup battery, remove the battery, unplug from mains, plug back in, reconnect battery.

On the Timex T311, to disable the radio alarm, press the Radio Alarm button once. The Radio Alarm Indicator light should go out and the radio alarm won't sound. If you press the Radio Alarm button once more, the radio alarm will toggle to on and that indicator light will come on. Similarly, press the Buzzer Alarm button once to enable the buzzer alarm and press it again to disable the alarm. See page 9 of the manual to see the directions to toggle these alarms on and off.
