What software are you using?

MAP update for C220/S, C320, C520, and C720t is now available. The update is available in DVD format due to the large file size. In-house assisted map update is also available.

Mio uses a tricky little thing to up date, If i remember right on the cd or dvd whichever one you got there should be a program called Active sync or something like that that installs under windows. This program must be running and MUST be installed for you to update any MIO product.

Make sure that this program in installed and running on your computer and then hook up your device. It should be found fairly fast by active sync. Once it has been found and device permissions setup you should be able to update following the procedures you received with the update.

I hate these things but they do sync with microsoft. I was unable to find a proper driver too but did find out that MS SYNC

I believe there are no updates for this device and Mio has a trade in offer towards a newer device.
Check with them :)

Time and date are set via GPS. Make sure you have a GPS fix, it will update the time and date.

You will have to contact the manufacturer for the part.

http://www.mio.com/support.htm then pick where you are. Then on next page on right hand side pick yr model number then yr away.

go to mio.com & download manual. Don't think you can set up for plane route except by laitude/longitude settings

A USB cord plugs into the same place the power cord plugs in. You have to buy the update from mio.com for $59.95

Keep pressing the power button for about 10 seconds. If the device still does not start , it means the button is broken and must be replaced

Just press the power button for about 10 seconds, and it will start

mise a jour mio c220

try holding down the power button until it reboots

exit Mio map and you will get to the tools where you change it.

Load your cd in your computer and read the manual if need be.

If you still have trouble, I will get my GPS and type in instructions
