Yes, your screen is dead. You really don't have any options other than to return it to the manufacturer for repair. :(

How do i recover deleted pictures?

you can recover photos from camera with camera recovery tool like asoftech photo recovery. First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.Download asoftech photo recovery softwarehttp://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Back-Up-and-Recovery/Asoftech-Photo-Recovery.shtmlInstall and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

Retrieving deleted photos without memory card

Yes, you can get them back...but ONLY if you have not taken any pictures after you formated the camera. There are programs out there that use data recovery to get your pictures back, but like I said, If you have taken pictures on your camera after you did the format...nothing will work.

You don't need any software to use your camera. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

I can't load the pictures from my camera to my computer.

Did you try leaving the camera connected to the usb port and restarting your computer? At startup windows should detect it. Do you have the software that came with the camera installed? Or maybe search for updated software from the camera manufacturers website.

You may not need a driver for this camera. I assume you are using a computer with Windows installed.

  1. Go to settings on the camera by rotating the dial to the wrench icon.
  2. Turn the camera on and select Set-Up 2
  3. Select USB
  4. Select PC

Your camera is now ready to use with your computer.

Now plug your camera into your computer and check under My Computer for the drive to show.

You should be able to double click on the icon to open the files on your camera and copy them to your computer.
