Hi, please ensure that the battery isn't past it's expiration date- even if it's not been used before, an expiration m. And please ensure that the sd card does not have more data stored than was built for the camera to handle. If so, please transfer some data off of the sd card and then attempt to set the date on your camera again. Thank you.

Hi, Please make sure that your camera doesn't have a black cover or tax over the lends. This would block any images from being stored whenever you attempt to take a picture. In other words, the camera wouldn't be able "to see". If you can't find any cover, please check that you've properly inserted an SD card for the camera to use and then switch modes (ie action, night time etc) until you see the area that you're attempting to capture come on the camera screen. Otherwise, you might need to get the camera checked at a store like BH Photo and video. Thank you.

the problem may be the SD card if it's am micro or more than 32 GB it is incompatible with the camera here is the note from the manual for pixpro AZ421 A standard SD memory card is not included in the camera packaging and needs to be purchased separately. This camera takes a standard (SD/SDHC) memory card. We recommend using a name brand memory card that is Class 4 or higher and has a capacity of 4GB to 32GB. The camera is not compatible with Micro SD, Ultra, Ultra Plus, Extreme, XC, or adapters for any of these other memory cards.

It is very likely that the charger doesn't have enough power (milliamps) to operate the motors involved in operating the lens motors. It is a good camera and a battery is only $5.99. If it has not been used in over 10 years, send it for recycling and buy a new one.

Camera is now fairly old and wasn't a premium model - possibly the battery has failed or the charger. If those check out as ok, it would be worth revisiting the instruction manual just to ensure there is nothing else you can do. Other than that it is hardly worth the expense of taking it to the repair shop.

If you deleted and not formatted them, and you have not shot any more pics on the card, there is software you can purchase that will recover most if not all of your pics. Just Google "picture recovery software" and you will find many examples.
