My oven is beeping F11. (i unplugged the oven

Hi,

The F10 F11 F12 F13 F14 Error Codes indicate that the electronic oven control board senses a runaway temperature condition in the oven through the oven sensor circuit.
This can be caused by a faulty oven temperature sensor probe or a failed electronic control board.
Oven temperature is detected by the control board as it monitors the resistance through the oven temperature sensor circuit.
You could have a failed oven temperature sensor, a wiring harness failure, an open thermal switch or a failed electronic oven control board that would cause this problem.
The first component to check would normally be the oven temperature sensor probe.
If you have a volt/ohm meter, you can shut off the breaker for the range and remove the screws that mount this sensor to the back wall of the oven.
Carefully pull the wire harness into the oven cavity until you get to the wire harness disconnect plug.
You should have enough slack to pull it this far into the oven.
Disconnect the sensor but do not let the wire harness retract back through the back wall of the oven or it will be hard to reconnect.
Measure the resistance of the oven temperature sensor with your volt/ohm meter. At room temperature, the resistance should measure around 1100 ohms.
The resistance chart is shown in the image below.

If the resistance is above 2200 ohms at room temperature, then the sensor probe is causing the F10 error code and will need to be replaced.

You can order a new sensor probe from the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number for the sensor is 316217002.

If the resistance is normal, then one of the other causes mentioned above is producing your F10 code.
You would need to access the electronic oven control board (Timer) in the console and check the resistance at the sensor circuit connection to the control board as the next step in troubleshooting this problem.

Frigidaire Model FEF365BGWE Oven not working, Error F3 on display

I found this: "F3 - Oven temperature sensor circuit fault The manufacturer has assigned this error or fault code to indicate that the oven temperature sensor has failed. Test the sensor with an Ohm meter for the proper level of electrical resistance. The sensor is not repairable, if it is defective it will need to be replaced." If it was me, I'd find the oven temp sensor (long thin metal thing like this: http://partsdr.com/part/5304497424-oven-sensor-kit/ this may not be the exact replacement part) and examine it. Unplug it and plug it back in. Maybe it's just lost proper contact. If not, don't waste a lot of time one it...just get a new one. They don't cost much.

The front dual burner will not heat.

Then it's just the wire connection at the burners. They're probably burned off and need replaced. I replaced the connectors on my mothers burners and they work fine now.

How to check heating elements in oven

Hello Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your inquiry! I understand are seeking information on how to check the heating (bake/broil) elements in your Frigidaire oven. Please describe what your appliance is doing so that I can assist you better in pinpointing the problem before you take this step? Also, may I have your model number please? You can typically locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) in the storage drawer, on the right side.

My fridgedaire oven will heat up fine on broil but when I put it on bake it only gets to 280 and stops heating

Good Afternoon Friend, I understand your Frigidaire range, model# PLEF398AC, heats up fine on broil, but only hits about 280 degrees F when put on bake. Please try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power, set the clock, and try setting the temperature to 350 degrees on bake. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

I AM GETTING F1 ERROR CODE ON FRIDIGEAIRE MODEL #CFEF372CS2 SERIAL # NF41924422, ONLY OVEN NOT WORKING

I am 99% positive you need a new EOC based on the fact that you said you heard the all too common pop noise. EOCs usually cost around $200-$300 and sometimes more. The EOC in this is the same as your clock, if you took off the top back you will see burn marks on the back of the clock.

Power surge made my Frigidaire stove show a F9 code

F9 is a door lock error. Sometimes when the power surges the door locks then unlocks. It is possible your door lock could actually be broken, however many times when the EOC fails, it will show an F9 when it should show F1. I would guess that your EOC (main computer board) is fried. Try unplugging it for 24 hours then press the door lock button once you plug it back in. If there is no error code when you plug it in but the error code comes back when you lock the door, you probably have a problem with the lock.

F10 fault

F1 through F10 fault codes are runaway temperature codes. If this error code is shown while the oven is in day time mode, the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) would need to be replaced. Otherwise it may be the oven temperature sensor or Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD sensor). Sounds like you will need to contact an appliance repair technician in your area to test each to isolate the problem.

Frigidaire stove door locked

I've had a similar problem - door is locked. If the door is open - locate the light switch and hold it in for a few seconds. Sometimes it makes a noise and resets the lock. Otherwise, push the Clean button and the Cancel button on front of oven simultaneously and hold for about 30 seconds. The ?locked? light should disappear. If it is working, you?ll hear a mechanical hum as it resets.

F7 keep frashin on the range

Good Morning Marlon, I am happy to assist you. Typically error code F7 indicates that there is a failure with either the potentiometer or UIB (User Interface Board). Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually clears most false error codes. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further to ensure the appropriate replacement part is order and is installed correctly to prevent future issues. I hope this information helps to some degree - thanks for your question, and please do not hesitate to reconnect.

I get F7 10 error code

Hi Claude, thank you for your question! Could the error code possibly be F1 or F10? Typically error code F10 indicates that the range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Try reprogramming the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and then turn the range on. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further for an accurate diagnosis. Most likely the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hopes this information proves to be helpful.

Top and bottom heating element does not work on Frigidaire electric range ES300

Usually when both elements are not working and everything else is working fine, the problem is your OCU (oven control unit), commonly known to consumers as the clock. The clock controls the oven and most times does not produce an error code when it fails. You will need the actual model number from a sticker located on the oven frame when you open the bottom drawer, the sticker will have the model and serial number clearly listed.Do a Google search for that model number and find the clock.I've provided a link for what probably is the proper clock but without the full model number I can't say for sure:http://www.appliancepartspros.com/frigidaire-clock-316207529-ap3764682.html

F9 error

the F9 error code means that you have a problem with the door latch assembly in your range. The specific technical information on this failure in your model of Frigidaire range is shown in the image below. If you can clear the F9 by using the troubleshooting steps shown below then your range may resume normal operations. If the CLEAR key does not eliminate the F9 then you will need to try unplugging the range for 30 seconds. If the F9 returns when you plug the range back in, then you will need to replace the door latch. Here is that part to order. To continue to troubleshoot this problem yourself, then you will need to unplug the range and check the wiring between the door latch assembly and the electronic oven control board. Remove the back panels to access these components. NOTE: Internal metal edges and the sides of the back panels can be sharp.
