Frigidaire FDL45P1 Dehumidifier - Page 2 Questions & Answers
Cleaning frigidaire fdd2550
Hello, I would say that if you have removed all screws and have double checked for any you may have missed, you should be able to remove the top by lifting it up and if the coil is there over it. If loose at bottom, and top seems to be stuck, I would continue to try and work it this way and that. It should come apart for service repairs and cleaning. I don't have a photo of it in front of me, but I do know sometimes they can be a pain. you just have to take you're time and work it. You would have to use a lot of leverage to break this plastic. You can do it, just try not to get to frustrated, easy for me to say I no, but it will come apart. Keep me posted on you're progress.
Sincerely,

Dehumidifier leakage
I was under the impression that the drain hose connected to the bucket with a screw on connection such as with a garden type hose.
Power lose
I have a 45 pint. I have to slide the bucket in and out of the unit multiple times. Make sure to wait a few seconds after each time to see if it will recognize no water (sometimes the red light comes on, but then changes it mind). Also, I've found that leaving the bucket a little crooked will make it respond. It sucks, I know. Mine is only a year old too. Should not be a problem like this!
Fdk45p1 dehumidifier
Has anyone figured out how to get a 25-pint Frigidaire dehumidifier (model FDD25S1) to put water out the drain hose for continuous draining instead of into the bucket? It appears to be impossible to connect the hose in a way to avoid water leaking into the bucket.
Continuous Dehumidifier Operation issue
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get the water from the dehumidifier to drain out the hose. It always empties into the bucket, which means I have to empty it daily.
2008 Frigidaire 50 pint Dehumidifier from Lowes
You can test it out by disconnecting the power cord, wait five minutes and plug it back in. If it retains the original settings you are good to go. If you are wondering before purchasing a new unit ask before you buy.
Frigidare Dehumidifier will not turn off
Pressure and temperature is directly related with refrigerants in the system. Ice building on part of the coils shows that the pressure inside the system is low and the system has lost some of its charge. Very low humidity with a low ambient temperature will also cause such a problem.

Check the point on the tank (Bucket) where the hose connects to. Make sure there is no obstruction at the outlet of the bucket to the hose connection. Next make sure the hose has no kinks or no loops that may trap air to the drain. If necessary for a long run to the place of drainage raise the dehumidifier to a higher level for better drainage.
Frigidaire MDD40WW2
Your dehumidifier may be low on refrigerant. Seems cold may not be cold enough to reach the dew point to condense moisture from the air stream.
Meaning of "F1" in a Frigidaire Dehumidifier model FFAD5033R1?
For the slightly larger model, FFAD7033R1, F1 turned out to be the humidity sensor. This can be accessed by removing just the back panel. If you have a soldering iron for less than a nickel you can just replace the NTC Thermistor (small orange resistor 10k) on the small PCB. See attached image below. In the image below just to the right of the white sensor you can see I removed the bad thermistor..
