MP3 player

Most likely it is beyond repair. The cost of repair, if it is possible would not be worth it, put your money towards a new player and be careful with your new one.

Sansa clip jammed

Rebooting the device usually helps with this.
Any time it's 'stuck', you can do a soft reset (reboot) by holding the power/hold button up in the 'on' position while pressing the center-round button for a few seconds.
If it defaults to off, it should restart normally by using the power-on switch.

How do you reset a frozen player?

Slide the power button on your SanDisk Sansa MP3 player up.

  • 2 Hold the power button on your Sansa in the up position for about 15 seconds. This action serves as a powering down of the Sansa device.
  • 3 Wait for your Sansa MP3 player to restart and let go of the power button. Actions taken during your last operation since powering down normally have been deleted and your player is now reset.
