Coby MP-C7082 Digital Media Player Questions & Answers
Request DRM time.
Normally becuase the old mp3 players just play it whatever. Newer ones have the DRM built in and can restrict playback. You should attempt to get DRM Free copies of the Music you wish to listen to . (PSST Forum W.org & Jamglue.com,and its not stealing since you already own the music)
Sorry if this is awkward. It is however the only way to go about things.
No Power
Coby's tech support / cust. serv. was familiar with the "no power" complaint.
Exchanged it - no problems - works great.
Request DRM Time
The DRM license on your songs was for a fixed term - right click an individual song that is giving you this symptom, click on Properties, and click on "license" or "digital rights" or however your particular configuration words it, and acquire a new license. you may have to renew your music service subscription to renew the DRM license, and then resync the player one more time.

Won't show up on my computer
When you open Windows Media Player, does it show an icon of your coby mp3 player? if so, just double-click the Coby icon, and bring up the song folders that way.
Synk issue
If it is not syncing, it is possible that the computer is not recognizing the player:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
Cannot synk to download music
If the computer is not recognizing the Coby, then
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Downloading video
Use the video conversion software utility included on the Installation CD to create video files that
are suitable for playback on the MP-C7052.
Your player supports AMV files with the following specifications:
160 x 128 resolution at 15 frames per second (fps)
The video conversion software will not recognize ALL types of video files, so you will have to find a free converter that will convert files of one type to AVI or another recognized video type.
Look at the help files in the video converter software for far more detail than we could ever hope to provide here.

Adding photos
you have to manually add them.
Go to my computer, then click on your mp3 players drive name, then go find your pictures, copy them, then paste them on your mp3 player. That should do it.
Windows Media Player does not support synchronizing images or videos.
