Hi there
You can try see if this may do it.
Go to Start / Run and type in "services.msc" without quotation marks, then press Enter or click OK.
In the window that opens (Services) look for "Print Spooler" on the right
Right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".
Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service".
Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them.
Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you're good to go.
Go back into the properties of the "Print Spooler" tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately.
The Print spooler depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. Is this service disabled? Go to services.msc look for RPC. Check state: Automatic

Am getting color print half page n error msg like
Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.
This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you.
Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.
First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.
If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Error on printer, ink lights flashing
If you haven't already, completely unplug the printer and let it set for a little while. Failing that, use the factory defaults option on its onboard menu if it has one. Make sure there's no paper jam, and, at your own risk, you could open the printer and try to move the printing carriage (the ink cartridges ride on this in most printers) just a little to see if it was maybe jammed.
When I print PowerPoint slides,
Hi,
Nearly all printers have an area at the edges that they can't print to. It's a physical limitation of the printer. There's nothing you or your software can do to change it.
Workaround
If your printer allows it, print to the next larger paper size, then trim the margins off later.
Problem
To make things worse, most inkjet printers have uneven unprintable margins. The margin at the trailing end of the paper (the end that's printed last) is generally wider than the margins on the other three sides.
When PowerPoint prints slides, it sends the slide image to the printer at whatever size the printer & printer driver specify as the largest printable size, but it has no control over where on the page the printer places the slide image. Some printer drivers include a "fake" page size that allows even margins but a smaller image that they may automatically center on the printed page. If your printer has this feature, it should allow you to get centered printouts.
Otherwise there's not much you or PowerPoint can do about this. Inkjet printers print stuff off-center and that's that.
Workaround
If you're willing to accept a slightly smaller slide image, you can print Notes Pages instead of Slides. Modify the Notes Master in your presentation:
Choose File, Slide Setup and set Notes pages to print in the same orientation as your slide pages
Choose View, Master, Notes Master
Select and delete the notes text and any other text placeholders you don't want to appear on your slide printouts.
Select and scale the slide image on the notes master to a larger size. NOT full page, but somewhat smaller. You'll need to find out what the trailing margin on your printer is and make the margins on both sides of your notes master at least that large.
Print a trial notes page from one of your slides. It will probably be off center. Go back to the notes master and move the slide image accordingly. It'll probably take several trial printouts to get right, but once you've got it nailed down, you should be able to get printouts of just your slides, properly centered on your inkjet printouts.
Once you've got it nailed, right click the slide image, choose Format and record the size and position of the slide image so you can use the same info in your other presentations.
Please let me know if the provided information has been helpful.
I cant install the driver of HP Deskjet F2100
Are you trying to use the CD? If so go to HP.com/support and see if there are Windows 7 drivers available for the printer (be sure to note whether you have 32 or 64-bit Windows 7).
The printer only prints blank pages.
Hi Yes you can try clean.
This May Work
Ok it got to be the heads blockage
There is fluid cleaner for this but I can never find any in the shops the only ones I seen is when they sell them in Tesco but they come in with the ink refill bottles so I just use worm water by it self on a cloth and dabbing on the heads to clean them, it will not harm the heads but not to much water.
Some heads are on the inks them self but some have them inside the printer so I not know your printer so if the heads are inside you need to get them out you may find that some heads will just clip out put some need to be unscrewed so you got to know how they come out so be careful and not push to hard on them, if the heads are on the ink then it is a easy job to clean them,
It worth a try it worked for me more than ones.

Printer prints only frame lines on paper ,nothing else
Hi
Yes it maybe your printer software driver.
1. Make sure it is the right driver for your Windows you are using XP or Vista or Windows 7 because they are not all the same drivers, it will only work with the right driver for the right Windows you are using.
2. If you have the right driver then you can also try uninstalling your driver and then doing a new reinstall this some times works.

I just installed the f4180 and it keeps trying to
Has it completely installed , means are you able to print properly?
if yes, then you need to change the status of a service in services.msc named as "HP Cue device discovery" from automatic to manual , then restart the computer. After that it won't reinstall.
HP Deskjet F4180-no option to save as PDF
A simple solution to this problem is to scan to JPG as normal and then print the JPG to a PDF using one of the very good "print to PDF" utilities like the Cute PDF writer.
Good luck.
Lost install dic for HP deskjet f4180 need to
Not sure about your model but have you tried the HP website for downloads?
One more possible option, sometimes going to control panel and deleting the printer and its software under programs and also the printer, restarting the computer and then having it install itself works.
I know these are frustrating problems.
Hope it helps.
