HP Officejet Pro L7650 Printer Questions & Answers
Where is the backup battery located and how can I change it?
If there is a backup battery then in most cases it will be soldered to the main formatter board, which is the board that the usb or network cable plugs into. In most cases with this product that battery will be soldered to the main board. These are often rechargeable batteries and the printer needs to be connected to AC power for at least 12 hours to charge it.
Uneven paper feed
probably best to use a different paper brand or grade of paper. try using a different feed if possible, there is usually 2-3 different feeds on these multi stations now days. (front, top and rear)
My HP Officejet Pro L7650 printer says "Cannot
Hi
Firstly you should check if there is any covering on the ink nozzles
Did you try to allign the print catridges after you changed the same.
Take out the catridges and clean it with a piece of cloth again put it back and check
if still it doesn't work
If you have done it perform a semi full reset:-
Unplug the power cable at the back of the printer
Press and hold down the (#) and the (6) key together pplug in back the power cable
Leave the keys it should say on the screen semi-nvm reset if it doesn't says so its not done properly .. try to do it once again after that it should align the catridges automatically
This should solve your problem if not try with a different catridge
HP Officejet Pro L7650 All-in-One Frozen display
Try resetting it. This will erase all stored speed dials etc for the fax, so be warned before doing this.
Disconnect the power from the printer
Press the # and the 6 together on the keypad
Reconnect the power to the printer
Wait for the display to say "Semi NVM reset" (or something like that) OR the printer will shut off.
When either of those occur, release the buttons on the number pad.
If the unit powered down, turn it back on.
The printer will now go through several minutes of gyrations and dancing about and will finish up with a calibration page.
This
reset will fix MANY MANY different issues with HP printers, and if you
call for tech support, it's usually one of the first things a tech will
have you do - so save yourself that 30 minute hold time and do the reset
first!
If you have a lot of phone numbers stored in the unit,
and don't want to lose them but still want to reset the printer, you can
do a partial NVM reset. It doesn't fix as many issues with the
printers, but it's less destructive. It's the "pound three" reset.
You guessed it...do exactly as above, but use 3 instead of 6.
Doesn't print right, Alignment failed.
Make sure that (1) you've got the right cartridges in it, (2) that the cartridges are properly seated in their slots. If both of those conditions are OK, then it could be that the printhead carriage is damaged. That would require skilled repair.
Hope that's helpful.
