Canon PIXMA MP210 Photo All-In-One Printer Questions & Answers
My Canon Pixma MP210 prints only red and blue
Canon makes it ******* owners by using a small electronic chip on each cartridge that opens when it is taken out of the printer. Sometimes removing a cartridge will not open and when replaced in the print head, it works, but if the cartridge sensor fails to communicate with the printer, you would need a resetting device to bring the cartridge back to normal. Rather than become upset with the issue, it would be best to get a new cartridge from any reseller on the internet (not Canon) and go from there.

How do I change the print cartridges?
Open the printer cover and prop it up with the support brace located on the right-hand side of the cover.
Remove the black FINE ink cartridge from its container and locate the protective tape. Gently remove the protective tape used to cover the print head nozzles and electrical contacts.
Insert the black FINE ink cartridge into the printer slot labeled "B." It will rest on a slight angle. Push the cartridge up and back until it clicks into place.
Repeat the process for the color FINE ink cartridge, placing it in the slot labeled "C."
Raise the printer cover slightly to loosen the support brace. Fold the brace inward and replace the cover to its closed position.
A green LED light will flash on top of the printer. In about a minute, the LED stops flashing and displays "1." Once the "1" appears, you're ready to print.
