Can you make copies on model D7460 HP Printer

Unfortunately no, there is no scanner bed so it cannot make copies. This printer is primarily for printing photos and plain paper docs. See Amazon's original review on this product in 2007: http://www.amazon.com/HP-D7460-Photosmart-Printer/dp/B000SNP0RW NOTE: Our Inkjet411 printer/cartridge support site provides technical tips for for 4000 printer models and includes over 80 videos for do-it-yourself printer remedies and corrections: http://inkjet411.com/ To refill your own inkjet ink cartridges, refer to our Refill Store Map Locator (over 600 retail store locations in North America): http://www.go2ris.com/#retailpartners Alternatively, if you would rather purchase new inkjet ink cartridges, we suggest you try a remanufactured ink cartridge from http://www.inkplicity.com/ as their ink cartridges typically have the lowest cost in the USA and have a high reliability rating. NOT ALL COLOURS ARE PRINTING

First - download the HP Print and Scan Doctor. It is freeware and official support product and this will automatically fix your problem in many cases. Latest version is 4.2 at the time of posting this. You can download HPPSdr.exe from the official HP site here ... http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=au&lc=en&dlc=en&softwareitem=mp-126353-1 If that doesn't help, remove the ink and make sure the foam inserts that allow the ink go to the printer are wet. You can do this by touching it to a sheet of paper and a spot of ink should be left on the paper - if not, your ink carts need to be replaced. If the ink carts are fine you should refer to the instruction manual or online guide to removing the print heads from the printer - it is unlikely that you will need any tools as most are just removed by pulling them out. Get a tray and fill it with Isocol rubbing alcohol and leave the print heads to soak in this for at leats 24 hours. When you remove them, make sure the heads are clean and dry and then reinsert them carefully. Re-add your ink making sure the foam inserts are damp with the ink and have not dried out. Run off a few test sheets using just the primary colours of magenta, cyan, black, yellow. It should all be fine from here on.
