Also it may pay to upgrade your Firmware too, there may have been "Fixes" that will help.

Also remember to do ALL settings changes as Administrator, at all times...Make sure you actually apply, and set the settings. Always save the changes in the Router, then reboot router, and then go and actually check, thew changes made have been actually changed, sometimes, see, it may take a few goes?
Use that portfowarding.com, you should be able to, using them, sort your issue.

You need to also check, that your ISP doesn't "Block" certain "Ports" as they often do. There is little point trying to forward an un-forwardable port.
The manual seems to explain it pretty well, just work through step by step, repeating these steps over and over sometimes, check, check and recheck, all settings and entries..

1. your issue is due to a a wireless laptop is not compatible with the old router or
you may need a firmware upgrade.
2. the cold compute may be able to connect via a cord (Ethernet) but not wirelessly due to an outdated driver for the network card ( the card will need updated drivers also) if it is a wireless b card then the ability to us a WAP key will not be possible
because your card was designed to use WEP key.
3. a new wireless G card installed to the old PC will allow connectivity if the wireless card is backwards compatible.
4. most all PC's can connect via a Ethernet cord they are all designed that way and have not changed for the 20 or 30 years they have been in use.

Login to Zyxel Router Admin page using admin url. Refer user manual for login username, password and admin url. Type in the browser with the admin url and login. It opens to a router management page. In that click on the WAN tab and select the Enable Nat option. Thus you can open nat on your router

You Will Have to Disable the Firewall In Your modem / Router

And IF it is a router then Open The Ports

Step 1:Connect Modem - Router - Computer (Wired)

Step 2:Open Router Setup by typing http://192.168.2.1 on the address bar of internet explorer

Step 3:On the Left click firewall

Step 4:Leave the Password blank and click submit

Step 5:Disable it and click apply changes

Step 6:Scan and connect in the Xbox/PS3/Wii

Step 7: Get the IP Address of the Xbox/PS3/Wii

Step 8:Open Router Setup in the Computer

Step 9:On the left under Firewall Click DMZ

Step 10:Enable the IP Address of the Xbox/PS3/Wii in it

Step 11:Click Apply Changes

Step 13:On the left Under Utilities click System settings

Step 14:Scroll down to the bottom

Step 15:Enable UPnP

Step 16:Click apply changes

At the middle Under internet settings check the WAN IP

IF it starts with 192.168. or 172.16 Then you will have to contact your internet service and ask them to bridge the modem

You need to log into the wireless router either by a computer that successfully connects wirelessly or by physically connecting with an ethernet cable. Once connected, log into the router by open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari), and typing the router's address (usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the Address (or URL) line. If you use a password that is not a plain english combination of letters and numbers, be sure to write it down so that you can enter it as needed on other wireless devices that need to access your router (ie-pda phones, game consoles, laptops, desktops, etc). Be sure to save changes so that the security settings and password is saved.

Yes you should! Download a manual for your router and read how you start the wireless LAN. I think you login to your router by writing 192.168.1.1 in the URL window in a web browser. Password is 1234 as default. Be sure to encrypt the AP with WPA so that your neighbours dont use your internet conection.

mostly, the home networks have IPs like 192.1.1... , or 10.0.0...

Open an internet browser and type 192.168.1.1 (or 10.0.0.1) to address space. when the router asks for admin username and password supply your username and password. If you did not change the defaults mostly it should be admin/admin.

Then you can follow the options on the router control panel and change any settings what you want.
