Highly uninformative - at the very least, we need to know make, model and age of the camcorder, recording mode, recording format, lens in use, ISO rating and shutter speed, please.

Your burner has gone south. You can try a firmware upgrade to possible correct the issue but if that does not do the trick then the burner needs to be replaced.

Are you connecting the leads to the correct input / output sockets?

You can exit production mode by pressing the menu and reset button. Simply press and hold the MENU button first then press and hold the small reset button. Keep both buttons down until the radio powers off and back on. Do not let go of the buttons until the radio comes back on and off production mode. You may also press the MENU and reset buttons repeatedly.
