Lens adapter needed

Get yourself a step ring, 52mm for you S8000FD, this has a thread on the end and allows filter attachments. I have an S8000FD and have since bought a step up ring, UV filter and Polariser, plus another lens cap which fits on to the end via a pinch mechanism rather than clamping like the one provided by Fuji.

Little power

What d you mean with batteries are added? When you use batteries, always make sure all four are from the same brand, quality, capacity and if possible, from the same batch. Never use different batteries in one camera. lways charge sets of batteries (2 or 4) together. Do not use alkaline batteries unless it is absolutely necessary. In some (most) cases, alkaline batteries may have a shorter service life than NiMH. Alkaline battery performance is limited, especially at low temperatures. The use of NiMH batteries is recommended. Never use manganese (Zinc-Carbon) batteries in your camera. Always be sure the battery is charged and suited for your camera. Check contacts of the battery and in the battery compartment of your camera. Dirty or oxidised contacts can be cleaned with a dry cloth. Never use sharp tools to clean contacts or anything in or on your camera. Always charge the battery before using it for the first time, or if you have not used it for a long period. 3 months is a very long period.

My dog has chewed main control for power on .can Ireplace it .I have bought Sapir camera

what is it you want to replace the camera, the dog or the switch?Sorry, I could not help to start like this. It was meant as a joke.I can't see how bad the damage is, and how handy you are. On ifixit, there are lots of manuals and videos, about how to repair electronics. Hundreds of camera's. Perhaps this one is on their list too. Or one that look similar. As an extra most of the time you can order the spare parts there too.

Everytime i turn the camera on it tells me i have a card error, i bought a new card and it is still telling me i have a card error? what can i do to solve this???

try going in to the settings menu and selecting the format option. New cards are generally not formatted and using the cameras software formats the card to be used in the camera. also note: I have found olympus or kingston cards to have compatability issuses when used with fuji cameras so I stick to fuji cards as a rule.
