1. aiptek web site has a driver solution for vista users I had same problem but with Win XP it keep seeing it as a flash drive .... I uninstalled drivers and re-installed them,- same error, then uninstalled again and removed the USB from device manager uninstalled direct X cause it was the newest version, then install everything from scratch without turning the camera on then try again and nothing, finally I turn to the manual and somewhere says "if you need to use it as web cam then press the menu button on the camera and select camara!!! as soon as I did that and additional port found in windows was detected and installed automatically then I got my video and microfono up and running. So easy right, but like always the software CD is missing the manuals too and people do not read. LOL .....

Have you tried a new memory card? It might have been damaged, when it was jammed.

You charge it by plugging into the usb plug on the camera. When you purchased the camera there should have been 2 cords that came with it. A usb plug to your computer, and a usb plug to plug into an outlet. Both will charge your battery. You should be able to purchase a usb to computer cord at a Circut City or other electronics store. Just make sure you take the camera to the store with you. To make sure you get the correct cord.

You have to have device drivers loaded to use as a web camera. If you go into my computer does it see your computer as a web camera as well as a storage device?

The yellow and white wires you have are called RCA connectors. There aka media cables too. You should have male ends that can connect to the output of your TV by matching the colors.

I just need to need to know what kind of connects you have on you camera to record the TV signals with.

is it only on the videos or is there no sound on voice either?

ttry turnign up the volume. when you start a video clip hold the joy stick up and the volume increases. you mighthave yours on zero

the light on the front is only a flash bulb. if you want to record at night use "night shot plus"

With the camera focus away from press the left curved button to record video. To use as a webcam hook the usb cable to your computer, and open the software that came with your computer. Press that same button and in the software you will see the webcam. Or you can use your chat program to access the webcam.
