Installed a new T-Con Board on Samsung LN-T4671F 46in fixed Dark screen issue now I'm getting lines & Blocks of colors. all I can think now it may be the 2 cables on the bottom of T-Con needs

Usually this would be the ribbon cable going to the screen from one of the boards!

Check the connection first otherwise replace the cable.

Picture is bad only lines and colors but suddenly some pictures appear and go. what is the prob.lem an soluiotn??

Hi, not sure if you have the same fault as i had, but our tv only had half the screen go off, after looking up on the internet i found a video for a fix, what you need to do is remove the back cover, there will be ribbons that go from the front screen to the main panel, i removed each one at a time and rubbed the contacts of the ribbon with a rubber on the end of a pencil, plugged them all back in and switched it on and it was now spot on, thats more than a year ago and its still working spot on, hope this helps jim

Hello, my parents bought a Samsung LNT4671F 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD TV about two years ago unfortunately me and my brother cracked the screen about 3 months after we have not fixed it. Me and my broth

It is beyond any reasonable repair---screen unit is called a display panel and the most expensive part in the set---cost of this would (just the part) be more than a brand new set.Let it go, some people do sell sets damaged like this on EBAY for parts.....

Describe your LN-T4671F 46 in.

Good day!! That problem is usually cause of bad/faulty capacitors on the power supply board..So you have a better chances and easily locating the faulty capacitors if it is look like leak/bulged on the top.. So please try to follow this instruction on how to do that.. 1. Open the back cover of your TV. 2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord.. 3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors.. 4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value.. 5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter.. Hope it helps you..

Captions are locked on and

You might have the CHILD LOCK feature on.

Use the remote to access the MENU then SET UP then CHILD LOCK.
Set CHILD LOCK to OFF.

If this doesn't work, try holding down the MENU BUTTON on the front of the tv for 10 seconds until you hear a beep. This works for some models.

Or if all else fails, leave the power cord unplugged overnight and this shoud reset the internal memory back to default settings.

I tried to download the user manual at the following link but the site was temporarily down

http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/detail/supportPrdDetail.do?menu=SP01&prd_ia_cd=101&prd_mdl_cd=LNT4671FX%2FXAA&prd_mdl_name=LN-T4671F&srchword=LN-T4671F

Gppd luck and let us know how you make out.

Tv pixels damaged can they be fixed

The pixels are an internal part of your screen and unless the processor bonded to the screen can be replaced, it is not repairable.

Take long time for tv

Check the power supply module, look first for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, they should be replaced in a set with good quality cpas with low ESR, 105c rating, notes that bad caps can look normal also.

I have a samsung flat

Your TV most likely has faulty capacitors in the power supply section of the TV. This is a failry common problem.

  • No video, Power light is on or blinking.
  • TV is making a clicking noise.
  • TV takes a while to come on
  • Screen is very dim or flickers.
2c07611.png The number one cause for the symptoms above are faulty capacitors within your Plasma or LCD TV. The number one reason that these parts fail is that TV manufacturers often times use lower grade capacitors in their efforts to reduce costs. After several years these lower grade parts will tend to fail first. To insure that these parts will not fail again its imperative that they are replaced with high temp, high quality, low-ESR caps. You can find the parts online from sources like Digikey or you can get complete reair kits incuding the parts, repair instructions, and support from www.TvRepairKits.com
