Frigidaire GLEF378ASE range oven cuts off during self cleaning mode.

My advice is never to use the self cleaning feature. Each time you use it you are a little closer to breaking something, elements, fans, door latches and one poor man who had a burned / melted control board which was obsolete so he had to purchase a new range. We see it here all the time. It is a great way to sell spare parts. 800 to 1000'F is just too severe for the parts.

What is a reasonable OVEN switch/controller for a 1980s Frigidaire RE34BAL range?

A standard oven thermostat should work if it will match the fixing holes. The sensor/thermocouple fits in the oven cavity as yours does.

Frigidaire PLEB30T8CCB Double wall oven - heating to temp, but not maintaining.

Your wiring diagram and parts schematics are here in the link below. Normally the bottom element does glow read hot after a couple of minutes. Broil elements last a lot longer because they aren't used as much. There is only one Control Board. If I was guessing, I would say the temperature sensor is at fault. Elements either work, or they don't, but you can easily test continuity with a meter. Many parts are discontinued. https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/3f7nkrfnvp-001428/frigidaire-pleb30t8ccb-electric-wall-oven-parts ..

Any idea on how to fix my double wall oven?

That doesn't sound good and is likely to be a Control Board issue. Turn it off tonight at the breaker and turn it back on in the morning. That is the closest you will get to a Reset. The light in the oven is just a simple switch connected to the door hinge.

Model FEF387XECB. What does PF code indicate?

PF means power failure. This is a loss of power that may be inside the stove or it maybe an issue with the wiring in your house. The biggest threat would be the wiring in your house and you should call an electrician to check the breaker panel and outlet. If it is not that, then you can look for a loose connection inside the stove.

Frigidaire gallery oven is showing LOC,how do I unlock it?

Try pressing and holding the Clear/Off button for 3+ seconds. The LOC indicates the control panel lock is enabled. The LOC should clear from the display. Note: if you hold the key pad for too long, the lock will reengage. From the picture of your range that you included, I believe this is the key pad button just below 7 to the right of the LCD display. There is a label in a small font just below the key pad. (The label probably is a padlock symbol and the word Controls but I can't resolve it from your picture.) Some newer Frigidaire Gallery ranges have a key pad button with a padlock symbol; this would be the correct button to press and hold on those models. Warning: on some models, the door lock will also engage. Do not try to force the door open. Wait for 15+ seconds for the door lock mechanism to fully disengage before attempting to open the door. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

My frigidaire stove gave an error code F10 and oven over heated how can I repair

The F10 error can be caused by a faulty relay or electronic control board if the oven overheated while in use. If you unplug the range and the error occurs when the range is cool, then the over-temperature sensor has failed or the electronic control board is faulty. Even the wiring between parts could be faulty. You need to check sensor and wiring. On some models, the oven temperature sensor probe can be accessed by opening the oven door. Look for two screws that are close together. Otherwise it's accessed from the back of the oven. It may be covered by an access panel. Unplug the wiring harness and check the resistance across the sensor with a multi-meter. It should give 1100 Ohms. Similarly check the wiring resistance from the probe to the control board. Also check the relay and that wiring. Replace the wiring, sensor or relay if those are faulty. Otherwise you need to replace the control board. The control board will be behind the console access panel. Somewhere on the back of the range, there will be a trouble-shooting sheet giving the wiring diagram and the expected resistance or voltage across the parts of the range. I may be able be able to provide a parts diagram and price list for parts on your range. Please add a comment with the model number of the range for this information. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

I misplaced my manual and need to have instructions to use the self-cleaning feature.

First take out the broiler pan, insert and any aluminum foil. Remove any other tools or pans from the oven. Next clean any large deposits in the oven cavity with hot, soapy water and a cloth. Clean the oven frame, the area outside of the door gasket and the very front center of the oven bottom with soap and water. Once you are ready to start the Self-Clean cycle, press the Self-Clean touch pad. To change the length of the Self-Clean cycle, press the pad again, as needed. Press Start. If you want to have the Self-Clean delayed, press the Delay Start touch pad after the Door Loc message appears. Type in the start time with the keypad. To stop this cycle, press Cancel. If the oven is hot, the door will remain locked. Frigidaire has most of their manuals available on their support site: http://b2b.frigidaire.com/support/manuals.asp . The current link to the English version of the Owner's manual is http://manuals.frigidaire.com/PDFnotFoundCheck.asp?path=ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/ProdInfo_PDF/&folder=Lassomption&PDFtype=Owner&PDFfile=318205312en.pdf&model=FGEW3045KFB . I have a Frigidaire wall oven model fgew3065kfb. After I used the self clean function the oven will not go past 190 degrees. Any ideas. Thanks

If it has been awhile since the self clean function has been used grease from cooking can build up on the inner contacts of the oven control. This would either need to be replaced or taken apart and cleaned. The self clean function should either be used more frequently or not at all,

What built in oven replaces a Frigidaire Model FEB24S2ASB

I know this isn't directly answering your question, however, what "burned up" about it? You can get just about every part that fits that oven from Sears PartsDirect. Control boards, bake elements, convection fans, switches, replacement glass... just about everything. Unless the oven literally burned through the side/top walls, you're most likely going to save money by fixing whatever's wrong with it. Even the clock/timer control board is only $164 for the OEM part.
