Model ww2460B double oven. need thermostat

Good luck with that!!! I had the same problem and scoured the internet for a solution. If you can find a used or rebuilt part you may be in luck. The thermostat on the left is a 6 pole one for the upper oven while the one on the right is a 4 pole for the lower oven 71001126. I doubt you can substitute the one for the other and give up the convection and self cleaning functions. Let us know if you find a solution or buy a new stove. Sears has a few 24 inch double ovens left, as the world is moving to 27 and 30 inch ovens.

I have double jenn-air built in ovens . when I turn top oven on it starts to beep and wont heat up.any suggestions. the bottom oven still works fine

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

This indicates an open/shorted oven temperature sensor and to solve this problem the sensor needs replacement. If you want to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter for around 1100ohms....if it reads more than this then it needs replacement however, if the reading is around or less then 1100ohms then it is the control board that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions. Kevin

Jenn-air oven error code 4d22

Hi. Erorr 4d22 indicates that the control board isn't seeing the fan speed signal from the fan on that oven. It's the lower oven, right? Check the connection to the Fan and Control board, and if that's not it replace the fan. HTH.

After usage the fan keeps

Hi

Get to the fans (behind the control panel) and check the screens for dust. Chances are the screens are clogged with dust and need to be cleaned so the fans can move air for cooling better.

However most importantly eliminate the oven sensor plug at the back of the range and hardwire it using a high temperature porcelain wire nuts. Then locate the sensor plug at the control board and measure the sensor resistance. It is supposed to be about 1100 Ohms at the room temperature. Make sure there is a good connection between this plug and the control board. Also try to reset it by unplugging the oven and put it back after 30 minutes or .If the fan is not stopping then it is probably a wire that has a bad connection and feeds it with electricity when it's not supposed to. Probably the isolation went off from the heat and in this case you need to call a repair person to get it diagnosed.

Please get back to us if you have further query or else please accept the solution.

Panel says F5 and oven does not work

F5 = Watchdog and hardware conflict

Loss of relay drive circuit If this fault code cannot be cancelled, replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC).

Sometimes just unplugging the sensor quick connect and cleaning the corrosion in it fixs the problem. Replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

F5 indicates the control felt a loss of power. I generally check the oven sensor for resistance (1040-1090 Ohms @ 770F). If the sensor is within normal limits, the control is bad.
Replace clock (ERC).

(see the following link) although it can sometimes be caused by a failed oven temperature sensor. The sensor should be checked before replacing the control. It should read about 1100 ohms when at room temperature.

Replaced desplay board and nothing worked replaced

F1 touch pad / ERC test This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present.

Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).

Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

The probe light keeps coming

Hi,

This means that either the probe jack or the wires going to the probe jack have shorted out thinking there is a probe inserted even though there is not. You will need to replace the probe recepticle which comes with new wires to correct this issue. If you don't plan on using the oven probe, you can always clip the wires and tape the ends off as this will make it so that the board cannot sense the oven probe recepticle giving it a false reading.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
