on this error read out - battery could be the problem is its battery operated - try hard wire to the wall outlet if u have a adaptor or maybe new batteries- of course the heads in the machine could be out of alignment- try another CD- do the easy steps first- if the walkman is real old, maybe its time for a new one if all other issues fail to solve problem -- also u could open machine up to see if a wire is burnt or has become loose. solder joints sometimes let go or a wire breaks
