I have a Mitsubishi TV

You have failing pixels. The screen is not woking as it should but having said that there is a tollerance allowed by the manufacturers, dependant upon possition.
Sanyo, with their LCD Projectors had a formula to work the problem out, I will not share that with the world as it may give issues later on.
There wer however, a few pixels allowed before a replacement screen was ordered whilst under manufacturers warranty.
Basically, if it gets too bad, as it is out of warranty I presume, a replacement Screen or a replacement set will be reyuired.

SCREEN HAS A LOT OF

imartin173,

Unfortunately you have an optical engine going bad. The TFT panels take alot of heat and go bad. The fix is to replace the optical engine. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4251975-replace_dlp_light_engine which explains the problem, where to get the parts at the best price and how to perform the repair.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Wd-65733 Mitsubishi Tv green blinking

You need a new projector bulb. Google up your model and buy the best warranteed one you cAN FIND. Buy a "caged assembly" and not just a bare bulb.

Then unplug your tv and get a screwdriver. Follow your model's instructions and just snug down the electrical screws. Do not overtighten them.

Then consult your manual on how to reset the lamp timer so it knows you put a new bulb in and fires up from the first try.

Treat yourself because you've just saved yourself a trip from a repairman!

Today when I watched tv it just shut off and it

THE REAL QUESTION HERE IS WHERE DID YOU BUY THE LAMP FROM?

If it is from Mitsubishi it has at least a 90 day warranty.

If it was a "Generic" you get what you pay for. It is unusual in this brand for the lamp to shatter ;

Let me know where and how you got the lamp---yes, you could have a bad ballast which powers the lamp but they also rarely fail.

I am here to help you but need more information--

I just replaced the lamp

Hi,
Is that replacement lamp Mitsubishi original one or any low price bulb?
If lamp is Mitsubishi original then let it give little time to fire up on full light for brighter image on tv screen.
Check video settings in menu for brighter picture.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

Green timer light blinks and then lamp light

You probably need a lamp. Check the code by holding menu and input for 5 sec. If you need a lamp the led will flash 6 times pause then flash 6 times again. The code will repeat several times if you miss the first few flashes. If the code is different, let me know what it is and I can help you. Thanks.

How do i clean where lamp is when its replaced

Well you can use a duster and vacuum cleaner hose with extension, but be aware alot of dust has built up on the cooling fans inside the set including the one connected to the projector assembly. You may want to have a repair man take the back off the unit and clean it accordingly as fan obstruction with dust will cause premature failure of the new bulb and may not allow set to turn on.

My tv will turn on there is no picture and it

Hi.

The only two parts that can cause scratching sound are the color wheel (if present) and the cooling fans.

The TV must be taken apart and tested by a technician.

To get in touch with a qualified technician ring the number listed on the user manual or check your Mitsubishi support website.

Regards.

Ginko.
