the unit runs on gas(LPG) so the unit is operational by ac I take it you mean mains power and by dc you mean 12 volts it being a 3 way cooler you cannot "jump start" a gas system so I am a bit lost with that statement check the heating element in the unit for continuity as both the mains and 12 volt power only heat and element that boils of the coolant liquid in the system the same as the lpg flame does it could be a relay problem for the electrical part

This is worth a try. Disconect the gas and power make sure the pilot light is out. Turn the fidge unside down overnight then unright again. Try it on gas agian. This worth a couple of goes before giving up.

Sounds like the unit may not have enough DC power. See the manual.

Eventhough your motor home is level you have to tilt the unit back a little to direct the water into the hole

only one thing that can do this.. your thermostat.. its either broken or set to low

In most cases the thermostat is not operating as it should. First see if the probe is still in its clip on the fins of the evaporator ( the thing in the back ) if it is still in position the thermostat is most likely bad.
