How can I switch from digital to analog?
If this is a CRT then you do not have a choice to get digital over analog. It is an analog TV. You can get what is called a scan converter to convert a digital signal to an analog but you will not be viewing a digital signal. To view a true digital signal you need a digital tv that has a resolution of 720P or higher. Most TVS are 1080P standardize which is the most common.

HOW DO YOU RESET
There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. The TV does not go on and the remote isn't working
Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Dvd player does not work
It sounds that the laser pickup unit to your disc player is either faulty or dusty. Insert a lens cleaning disc into the player, and play it for at least two times. If the fault is with dust or dirt, this must solve the problem. If not, make sure that the optical pickup unit is faulty, and should be replaced. Lens cleaning disc an be bought form most of the electronic spare part shops at your town.

Broksonic stuck on sleep mode
If a normal TV with a picture tube there is a short in the high voltage area or elsewhere---if a 13 inch or small set it will be less expensive to replace it than repair it.

I have a Broksonic model
Hello,
since you have confirmed that the remote is working, then it means the problem lies with the TV.
There is a sensor in the TV that communicates with the remote. If this
sensor is defective, the remote won't communicate with the TV.
The TV sensor might have loosed contact from inside of the TV or it maybe defective and need to be replaced.
If the above is contrary to your question, please let me know and make your question very clear in the case.
Regards.
