The error code E1 = Water supply error -Not enough water entering the W/M.
Try check water supply line is on and not have any kinked.

Just use a marker to put a dot next to the start button and another mark to indicate different settings. You can look up the settings online

I have the same washer..same problem..pump tested ok on the bench when connected to power. All lines r free from any obstruction. Any clues r much appreciated.

Remove detergent drawer by pulling out, some models got a tab where you need to push for release. Remove plastic cover from softener compertment and clean it. It maybe clogged up with residues from softener or liquid detergent

If the cable is spliced and insulated properly, then moved away from the rotating drum it will be fine. I assume your repair guy has basic electrical knowledge, so let him at least try, nothingto loose

Ok, nothing to worry about. You have bacteria growing in your machine. Clean out the slime from the door seal using a soft cloth and soapy water. DON'T use any harsh chemicals such as bleach ! Remove your detergent drawer (if possible) and clean it thoroughly - a dishwasher will do this very well. Disconnect your machine from the power supply and clean thoroughly inside the space where the dispenser drawer was, using a toothbrush or larger nylon brush and a soft, soapy cloth. Using liquid detergents all the time can cause a build up of residue over time, which gives the bacteria and mould somewhere to grow. So try a hot wash cycle (without a load) using a powder detergent intended for whites. Washing powders contain brighteners and chemicals which are hostile to mould and bacteria. Finally, leave your dispenser drawer and loading door open every night to allow fresh air to circulate through the entire machine. This will reduce the number of cleaning occasions needed.

I never heard of a washer gasket of drum....Just try to look closer new as your machine is usually something that cld be easily sorted, check if pipes aren' loose or broken.

What happens with such electrically operated valves, is that a calcium (or other mineral buildup) prevents the rubber seals from stopping water flow. You need to replace the valve(s), or clean them thoroughly, using either LimeAway or CLR.

Usually what happens here is that the pump to expel the water is not functioning, the normal problem here is a coin or hair grip gets lodged in the pump and stops the impeller from turning, generally the pump can be removed and opened up to remove the offending article and allow the impeller to operate again, once cleared of obstruction reassemble the pump and refit it. ( be aware, as the machine is still full of water, when you remove the pump the water will flood out so you need plenty of towels so soak up the water that spills.

The user manual will show how to clean the filter it is fitted at the drain hose. google the make and model for instructions, if you have lost the user manual.

if you cant hear the water filling the machine it will be the hot /cold intake solenoid

put some bleach in the washer and run a rince wash (nothing in the washer) then run 3 more rince washes to clear out all traces of bleach before you put any closes in it,(or do a hot white wash only) this should work ok, when not in use all ways leave the door open if you can to change the air inside your washer it stops them smelling
